McCune Farm to Market

This review is for lunch for four on Labor Day. service: I think Nita was the name of our server. Hope I got that right, because she was fantastic. Professional, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. food: We started with onion rings ($4). These are some of the best o-rings you'll ever enjoy. Then again, the French fries ($3) and my club sandwich ($8) were also amazing. My wife had the chicken strip salad ($8) and reported it was also great. Our table also had a cheeseburger ($8) and roast beef sandwich ($7) that drew high marksdetails: Plenty of parking outside. Space is divided into dining room and store. There is outdoor seating, but it was too hot in August. Don't miss the Schenker Family Farms local meats and other products.

Lunch was pretty dang good. Was with a crew of people (8) and it was Grill to Table, very fresh. The waitress was on her A-game with not one beverage dipping lower than half glass. This place is half glass full type of establishment!!You should try this place if you are close.

Delicious homemade food with great service and a cute little store attached. I highly recommend the Chicken Fried Chicken if it happens to be the daily special. I'll stop here again!

I was in McCune Market recently when they had their hot open faced beef sandwich on the menu. Winner Winner! What a wonderful tasty meal. Great mashed potatoes and the beef was cooked to perfection and served on classic white bread. I highly recommend that you stop in the McCune market and check out their daily specials.

Love this place! Went for breakfast the first time this weekend. All home cooked, reasonable prices and a stellar waitress. Plus lots of local products and fun stuff in the store.Highly recommend. Support our local farmers and this local business!

My husband and I went to visit my family. They took us to this place. As we were sitting and eating breakfast, a young man walked up to the soda machine with no shirt on. My husband asked the waitress to ask him to dress himself. She scoffed, rolled her eyes and went into the kitchen. As we were trying to pay and leave, the young man was still there with no shirt on. Next time, we will skip this place.

I've now had two visits here and there will most definitely be more! Chicken fried steak for dinner was good and the hamburgers at lunch were very tasty. The onion rings were awesome! The breading is thin and that makes them very tasty and not a bunch of breading. The store under the same roof offers a lot of great stuff. I brought cheese, meat, and eggs home. All are excellent. This is the type of store that sells things people need, want, and use. It's not cheesy junk souvenir type stuff. A number of Kansas made products, too. The wait staff has been very good both times. Kathy at the register is super! She's got a warm welcoming personality and takes great care of the customers. She just happened to be working both times we were there. They have specials. I would suggest calling ahead to find out what they are. The first time we were there the prime rib looked amazing. Regretted not ordering it. It's on my list for next time.Suggestion: They accept credit cards but help a local small business out and pay cash.

Yummmm! So good. Was blessed to come across this place on a road trip going east to west. Recommended it to family going south to north. The lady working there recommended the chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes. She did not steer me wrong! My husband raved about the bacon chicken salad for days to anyone who would listen. Give it a try!

Was just passing through and happened upon this store for supper. I cannot recommend enough both the steak tip salad and the grilled chicken salad. This is what real food tastes like. The service was amazing and the store was clean and well kept.

Friendly staff, great service & food. Loved the country ambience! We were just traveling through town & this place was out in the middle of nowhere. So glad we stopped & checked it out.
