Great local access to parts. They usually have most of what I need in stock. They are knowledgeable about parts I need for my ancient Grasshopper that I am bringing back from the dead. Not sure why the negative other reviews - it's a mower shop - know what to expect when you walk in! They are a lot friendlier and more helpful than most mower shops I've been in.

They do really really shotty work and won't take responsibility for it. I wish I would have looked here before taking my mower to them to get it fixed. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM AT ALL!

I give them a 0 rating for customer service and the service they provide, HORRIBLE HOORIBLE HORRIBLE. DO NOT DEAL WITH THEM IN ANY WAY.took my mower for winterization and check everything on my rider.Could not pick my rider up until I pay the full amount, brought the mower home it was damaged, and it would not steer straight, I called them they said they would call me, it's been over two weeks now no one has called. I am making a complaint with the BBB. I hope and pray that no one else will do business with them, save your money go somewhere else.

I purchased a snapper walk behind mower about 4 years ago and was treated well in the purchase process. I went in for a couple of parts and had good help trying to determine the correct part to fit my model. I have also had them winterize the mower each year and was satisfied with the results. I especially appreciated the tech that serviced it at the end of 2022 to be ready for 2023 as it ran very smoothly All year and the blade seemed to have been balanced very well when they sharpened it. Just had it serviced again to be ready for 2024 so we will see how it does next spring.

Horrible customer service. Left my mower and was called to authorize the necessary repairs. I authorized and a few days later was contacted to say the mower was repaired. When I went to pick it up, was told I had to pay before seeing the mower run. (Should have known then). The mower smokes worse than when I took it In. I challenged the repairman who said he wrote that on the ticket. However, I was not informed. They would not offer any options other than "run it till the engine blows". So, I got scammed for $330. Avoid this place completely!!

I will file a complaint with the BBB..What's funny is that people that gave them one star the owner replied with it was not their fault. Dear owner and the employees,I was lied to and mislead. However, I will take some of the blame because I might have mis understood but you as the owner said you would take the other part of the blame but you still did nothing about it!!! I DONT expected anything for free but maybe you as a company should realize that WORD OF MOUTH ADVERTISEMENT CAN BE THE BEST OR THE WORST ADVERTISEMENT!!!!Maximum said it would cost $80.00 for a new carburetor but I have to pay $30.00 for a diagnostic. I'm taking this to my mechanic at 8:00am tomorrow morning. I will update this tomorrow morning!Update Thursday, June 7th 8:44 amI took my mower to another mechanic and he looked at my mower I told him what Maximum said it was and he took to air filter out and looked at the carburetor. He them spayed carburetor cleaner in a couple of areas and tried to start it. Low and behold it started right up and he let it run for 20-30 minutes to make sure all was well. I asked him what I owed him and he said he could not justify charging me anything to spray it with cleaner. I have him $20.00 for his time and will always go back to him. Maximum you wanted to charge me $80.00 for something so simple. I will continue to Spread the word about how big of crooks you are!Update: June 12th It's been almost a week and I have mowed twice. The couple of sprays of carburetor cleaner seem to still be working!!!! It's funny that when I was standing outside speaking with the owner I told her I could find a new carburetor on line for $15.00. Her response was NO way not a new one maybe a rebuilt one:)It's sad that you as a company will make so many excuses to find more ways not to take care of customers that purchased from Maximum. I do understand your statement about carburetor cleaner is a temporary fix but I will update again in a week to see if the spray of carburetor cleaner is still working. Also, did you know that a bottle of carburetor cleaner it about $5.00. Stay tuned for the next posting:)

Expensive service, slow, not sure they really know what they're doing either. They pride themselves as being better than the "big box stores" but I don't agree and I won't go back for service or mower replacement.
