First off I want to say that this review is not about the surgery itself because I decided not to have surgery with him after the consult due to what I felt was some deception on his end. I want to say I believe he does good work from what I saw with reviews when he "wants" to. Firstly, I had been looking for a plastic surgeon that could do an arm lift, back bra line lift and later a tummy tuck. I was under the impression I was PAYING and driving from Colorado to have a consult for all three things!NOT SO!Also, BEFORE I ever agreed to come down I spoke with his surgical nurse and made sure he was willing to do touch up lipo on the arms, arm pit and back areas where he would be doing the lifts and skin removal. I asked for the same with the tummy tuck. She was emphatic that Dr. Conrad ALWAYS does lipo only WITH the lifts because this always yields the best results. Well, I drive all the way there and paid my consult fee only for him to tell me "this consult is only for the back and arms and naaah, I don't want to do lipo with it, but you can come back six months later and pay for that separately!" He also said he didn't even want to to an extended arm lift, which is what I need because I also had an excess of skin and somefat in my arm pit area.Lol, like how convenient to get more money instead of just doing the RIGHT THING and combining procedures (like was PRE-AGREED TO) so I don't have to drive back and go under anesthesia AGAIN and pay the full price of lipo vs. a combined price like the other plastic surgeon consults I had agreed was the best way to go.From my understanding you deflate the arms with lipo and then remove the skin for the best result, not vice versa. Even one of his nurses said "sometimes he's unpredictable on what he wants to do each day!" Well I guess so! So he lost my business when he could have easily agreed to what I wanted, actually given me a consult for ALL the surgeries I wanted, which was very reasonable) and earned my business. He also asked me if I had any intention of losing more weight and I said maybe 10-15 lbs, but I'm pretty much at my goal weight now and have stayed here for close to 1.5 years. That's when he said "oh see yeah, 10 lbs makes a MAJOR difference in a tummy tuck so you'll have to pay for another consult for that!" Just unbelievable! I'm happy to say I went to another surgeon who recommended I actually do a circular tummy tuck with back lipo FIRST and THEN do the bra line back lift and extended arm lift and now that I just had mycircular tummy tuck, 360 lipo and BBL fat transfer ALL TOGETHER I realize my surgeon was spot on in strongly recommending this order!

Take a look and judge for yourself. I went to Dr. Matthew Conrad's practice for basic neuromodulator injection (Botox, Jeuveau, Dysport etc) in my forehead and around my eyes for crow's feet. I have had injectables of Botox and Botox alternatives at other highly qualified Dermatologists for the past several years and have always had incredibly great results in younger looking skin and and youthful appearance. Not so at Dr. Conrad's office. The injection I received has resulted in severe drooping eyelids. This awful and ugly result has been distressing, has resulted in a haggard, tired looking face with my natural and normally bright, wide eyes and highly arched eyebrows pulled down into drooping, hooded, half closed eyelids, so much so that I am unable to apply or wear eye makeup. Not only did I pay hundreds of dollars to look like a tired and haggard old woman, but when I called the office the next morning and reported my drooping eyelids, I was told "that's a normal side effect" of injections. HELL NO! Omgoodness, clearly bad results have happened before or is a common result with patients of this practice. Drooping eyelids are a 'side effect' of a practitioner without proper training, without proper knowledge, and or skill in neurotoxin injectables. I have not once ever had my eyelids left drooping and then to be told it's a "normal side-effect" is outrageous. There is no fixing drooping eyelids from improper placement of the injectable. I will look like tired and half asleep through the Holidays and well into next year waiting for the injectable to wear off, hoping that it is not a permanent disfigurement of my eyelids. While it is rare for me to share negative reviews, I believe sharing my very poor procedure results at Dr. Matthew Conrad's office is in the best public interest for honest reviews. My rating is for the lack of knowledge, proper training and skill and not for their friendly office staff. Staff was kind and friendly. Please, do not ever believe that drooping eyelids are an acceptable or normal side effect of a neuromodulator injection. It is not and you should run from any practitioner that does have proper knowledge, training and or skills for the services they are providing. I can now only open my eyes halfway as you can see by the picture.

Dr. Conrad and his staff are amazing!!! I can't say enough good things about my experience! I live in Dallas and was looking for a plastic surgeon for my enbloc/breast implant removal when my sister in law referred me to Dr. Conrad. I'm so glad I chose to get my surgery done in Wichita instead of Dallas!Dr. Conrad is a perfectionist and I couldn't be happier with my new look! He also scheduled lots of follow ups and checked on me quite a few times after the surgery. I'm so impressed with my results and the level of care I received, I'll be traveling to Wichita for any future surgeries!!! Thank you Dr. Conrad!!!

When I expressed my disappointment to him by phone and email, he did nothing. He did all measurements before surgery and said 400 Cc will fit. At the day of surgery he asked his assistant on front of me and she said we don't have the 400cc. Very unethical and dishonest. I will do a research about how to file a complaint against him.
