Martins Transportation

Kinda expensive but otherwise great service.Bart arrived on time and drove fast to my destination - we arrived early.He was pleasant to ride with,All went well in general.Price was rather high in my opinion.The car (a minivan) was comfortable.

Loved my taxi dude!! He was Good n kind and very nice without being flirty. Very clean car n i felt very safe! Everything was properly displayed and i liked that was some kind of little on down the back of seat, closer towards feet, so i was never but not so bright i couldnt see out.It was a good, take it from someone who has been on a lot of ones that were not good in all kinds of coutries, a lot people dont care about about but themselves in the moment.

I had an amazing driver the other day. Can't remember her name but she really helped me out! Thank you Martins!

Out of all the transportation companies in Joplin, Martins is by far the best. The drivers and dispatchers are friendly and incredibly helpful, the cabs are nice and clean, and the fares are fair and affordable. It's as good as it gets. The only way it gets better is if they offered complimentary back massages and gourmet chocolates.-8/2/2019 Edit-After waiting for 2 hours and 50 minutes for a taxi today I felt it important to edit my initial review for clarity. The first handful of days of every month are bound to be crazy for any transportation service. However when you are waiting for almost 3 hours in the muggy heat, it feels a little much. And then I remember many times over the course of the past few months where I'm waiting an hour or longer. But I understand that's only because it's a great new taxi service in high demand. So I feel that until dispatching or something changes in the future, where people aren't waiting a crazy amount of time, I'm going to rest this at 3 stars for the time being.

As a driver that worked there, it wasn't very professional. Were constantly dealing with lack of drivers and breaking vehicles. The owner chose only to fix what would keep them going. There were several points where we had to stop calls except pre scheduled time calls because the phones were shut off, or there wasn't enough money to pay the "independent contractors" (or his drivers) not to pay his dispatch. Us drivers were running ragged with not enough drivers and Martin wanting to keep us running 24/7. Some of us went months without time off or pay. He still owes some of us money, which as independent contractors, means he owes our "business" money.

I highly recommend Martin's taxi service, or at least number seven DJ I'll take her name was. Very welcoming and warming, went out of her way to help.

I have always used Martins Taxi. Always pleased with the service. They have always been on time and take me safely where im going. This is the only taxi service i will ever use and urge everyone to try them. You wont be sorry!

I've had some very kind drivers but also some pretty creepy ones and the female dispatcher is HORRIBLE last night was the second time I called that she never even sent a taxi out to me and I had to walk home at 1:00 in the morning. They are also not reliable for getting you to work or wherever on time when you call ahead and order one. I ordered one for three and they didn't show up until 3:23 ( I start work at 3:30 and I told them that multiple times).
