My elderly parents hired him and two weeks ago he came and only worked two hours to do repair on their deck stairs. They paid him $349 upfront, excluding the painting. The work was completely botched and absolutely poor work. He came back out to fix it and finish the work, but rather than using treated wood (according to their bid), he was using untreated pine. He also brought an inexperienced worker to do the work. The boards are not even lengths, screws not straight, and unmitered corners, plus gaps in the beauty boards. The job is worse than before he started work on it. Total bait and switch with my elderly parents. My parents are completely upset with Martin Painting and the quality of work. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!****UPDATE to his reply to my review***My parents are/were elderly. If you think you were stating you were "conned" then you are completely trying to mislead others again. There was a small budget agreed upon prior to work, but poor workmanship is inexcusable, regardless of budget.
