Market Tax Services

We left our information for taxes for my Mothers estate first week of March. My tax information followed a few days later. The day before tax day we were informed that we needed another tax return for our Mother. We did finally get them back in JUNE. Our first tax preparer left the state, relocated her home, and then finally got around to ours. Unbelievable. Poor customer service, no call backs after several attempts, threatening to charge us full price after incomplete returns. Unprofessional, untimely, unresponsive, and uncaring is how I would describe this company.

Our local tax service Bullins merged with this company. They then made an error in our taxes, which costed us thousands. We were notified by the IRS of this error and given 12 days to pay thousands without penalty. We were given excuses, and refused a full refund. Unacceptable from "professionals" we will not be back or recommend them in the future!

I have used a small local tax service office for some 20 years. Unfortunately the owner retired and sold the business to Market Tax Service, a bigger company. They are awful. i took my information to them in February, yet I have had to call them 2 or 3 times a week for a month to see if they are done , do I owe or get a refund. Each time they would " it will be ready by the end of the week", "or we'll call you by Monday " , or many other assortment of excuses, and it was never ready when they said it would be. It wasn't until I got upset on the phone that it was actually done by today, one week before tax day, but I took my information in in February. They are awful.
