Took my puppy there for a supposed sprained ankle. took him back later that day for being lethargic and not acting normal they said vitals/temp came back normal and I have nothing to worry about. next morning, went to work for four hours, came home to a puppy sounding like if he was a human was having an asthma attack. Rushed him to vet hospital in hutch, Great staff btw. Within 5 min doc said internal bleeding and was bleeding out from the inside. He has internal bleeding in his thoracic cavity and he Couldn't breathe because blood was covering his entire chest... Doctor said a blood transfusion might have worked if he was brought by in a couple days earlier, which he was just to the wrong vet obviously, and now I have a dead puppy 18 week old puppy .

Maple St Vet Clinic was recommended to me by another patient's person. I have a cat which needed spayed. I had gotten quotes in my Wichita area, and was about to decide I'd rather deal with kittens when I called Dr Dillon. Her price for spraying and a round of shots was nearly $200 less than anyone nearby. Hey, I can drive to McPherson for far less than $200. When I took my cat back for stitch removal, we discovered that we also had a very close K-State connection.

This is a different type of vet clinic than others in the area. They seem to be like country folk. Quick and to the point. If you're looking for a vet to talk over every little concern you have and make you feel good, then this probably isn't the place for you. You'll bring your pet it, they'll do their best to care for it, and they'll give it back to you, all in 20 words or less. They'll also charge you half the cost of others in the area. We will continue to drive our animals the 35 minutes to McPherson for this good, but budget friendly care.
