Manhattan Nails

Three of us went in for mani and pedis and we were impressed! The shop is immaculate. We were offered cold water, our purses were hung up, and we dealt with friendly employees who concentrated on fine service and customer comfort. We truly enjoyed the experience. They were ready for us when we arrived on a busy Saturday and we left feeling happy and pampered.

After being turned away from 3 Salons here for a basic gel pedicure in Manhattan, Manhattan Nails graciously was able to fit me in Thank you so much!!!

This was horrible. I went in for a gel manicure and wish I went anywhere else. The lady was so rough with my hands, there's polish on my cuticles and the paint is uneven. She never even asked me what shape I wanted, she just filed and they're different shapes on different nails. For my pedicure she barely filed the nails, running it over my toe once and thinking it was fine. Her massage was nice but she kept doing the same motions over and over so it wasn't really doing much. Literally will never ever come back.

They had the best selection of nail polish colors that I've ever seen and I loved it! I made an appointment for my friend and I for a Saturday, which was a good idea since they had people trying to walk-in and get service. The lady that did my nails was friendly, but the lady that did my friend's nails was super quiet. Loved the massage chairs. My nails chipped later that day, but I should've let them dry longer. I definitely will go back. They were great at cleaning chairs and work stations where customers were. We splurged and got the $57 pedicure with the mud mask and cooling gel. My feet definitely needed it and looked way better after.

I stumbled upon this place and have been so happy with the service and the customer service. I've had so many people comment on how nice my nails look.

This is a very new place. The staff is great, very friendly. We were given cold bottled water. Massage chairs were so very relaxing. Daughter-in-law got the new cat eye gel nail treatment. My pedicure was very well done. Gentle and thorough massage. My toes and feet looked great.

As a new nail salon opened I was looking forward to treating myself to a manicure and unfortunately had the worst experience. To start I asked for a pedicure and manicure, during my pedicure I asked for clear polish to be put over split in my nail and instead she cut it off and my nail has a dent in it. After this, she said my polish was too light and when choosing another she didn't like that one either, so I finally settled on one she approved of while receiving a lecture from her and the male owner about not picking such light colors. During my manicure, the woman doing my nails got annoyed that I asked for square nails and switched out with a male employee. I then went to pay and the male employee watched as I added the tip amount and said I could "leave a custom one" as he then watched me enter my pin for my debit card. So disappointed with my experience, it costs a lot of money to get nails done and this is not how I want those appointments to go.

Overall, this place is okay. but when you're paying so much money to get your nails done, nobody wants just okay. I've been here twice and have gotten acrylics, dips, and a classic pedicure. The woman who did my pedicure did a great job and was very nice, and she didn't seem rushed to get me over with. The store is very clean and has a good atmosphere, as well. However, i had the same man do my nails both times, and both times he left me with obvious cuts. The first time i went, he left a pretty big one that actually hurt, and i know he noticed it but didn't say anything... He also left my dips very crooked and chunky, with gel on my cuticles, and both times has never given me a manicure, i still have hangnails and stuff all around. He did okay.

I had dip powder put on my nails last week Friday. After 3 days my nails chipped and now it is 6 days and they have chipped and cracked. I would have given one star if it weren't for their good customer service. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this salon.
