Food smells so amazing, I almost just ate in the car. Got home and forgot to take pics of my food but remembered the dessert. Pork Butt was outstanding, so tender and melted in my mouth. Ribs full of great smokey flavor as well soft meat that fell off the bone. A chicken fried streak that reminds me of my childhood with a cream gravy that carried the same nostalgia. Hand down the BEST place to eat in Arkansas City, Kansas. Oh, and by the way, they offer Mello Yello. Please visit Marilyn in her little pink house as I will make it a 'must stop' every time I'm in town.

This place is delicious. I'm so happy to have them in our community. The people that work here are very nice and everything is made fresh.

Not everything is entirely from scratch, but the two friendly ladies behind the counter want to make you good food. The meatloaf sandwich certainly fell into this category, completely flavorful without being over seasoned or oppressive. The sauce was good, and served in just the right quantity to make the dish work.I did not sample of the impressive list of desserts. My hostess' gloved hand seemed equally comfortable preparing food as operating the cash register, which kitchen hygiene foul I was willing to overlook as a result of the friendly, warm conversation. Also: there does not appear to be a customer bathroom, nor a very interesting selection of beverages.

It's just really good, downhome food. So fresh, cooked to order, so be prepared to wait a minute for it, especially if you order the fried chicken (which I highly recommend). I definitely haven't had a better chicken fried steak for $10. I expected the green beans to just be green beans like usual, but they were genuinely some of the best I've ever had. SO good. You need to try this place.

Delicious food, home style cooking flavor! We have had the fried chicken, meatloaf, pulled pork. All was great. Call ahead if you want the fried chicken though! It takes about 30 minutes to make it!

If you haven't eaten here you are missing out. I discovered this place in 2013. The food is amazing and the owners make you feel like family. If I could I would give it 8 stars.

Wow! Off the chain. Strawberry cake was so good, I started taking little bites to make it last longer. Ribs were super tender. Greens were to die for. Mac & cheese was great. And the fried corn? Great great great! Brisket was ok but I'm not that big of a brisket fan. I don't live here but in the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger.... I'll be bôk!

Best BBQ someone can get. I drive from central Oklahoma on occasion to get my fix. Everything is on point. Ribs that fall off the bone, Briscut, fried chicken is my favorite. Yams, greens, mashed potatoes, mac n cheese with pork seasoning, all the sides are great. Don't even get me started on their desserts. And on top of exceptional service and food, they're all very good folks with good intentions. If you're ever around Ark City, Kansas or live around the area I highly suggest stopping by and supporting this family and local business!!
