We drove all the way out to Zenda to discover you must have a reservation. We were in luck. There was a table in back. We were seated and handed a menu. I was ecstatic to see Mountain oysters on the menu. I ordered them. Hubby ordered chicken fried steak. We had originally come for the steak, but changed our minds.We sat adjacent to the well-stocked bar and watched patrons order drinks. Country music played softly from a speaker behind us on the wall. The waitress and cashier readied tables for the incoming reservations. We enjoyed our meal and the hospitality. Next time, we will make the reservation first!

The boiled shrimp & crab legs were our favorite part of the seafood buffet. We did not call ahead though so we did have to wait a few minutes for a table, but everyone was very friendly & there are quite a few old fashioned country things on the walls to look at while you wait. It's my third time at the restaurant and the first time during their seafood buffet and honestly the texture of the crab leg meat was better than Joe's in KC. This is a great place to take your family, if your kids have the buffet they charge by how old the child is so my 3 yr old was $3 & my 6 year old was $6.

The seafood buffet. Not that good. Not sure what the hype is. I suppose if that's the only seafood you have had maybe it's good but I wouldn't recommend it. Now ima go get some food else where after 25$ for the buffet

Nice environment, food is good. Will come back, recommended to friends and increase rating when they take anti gun sign down out of the window.

They need to take down website. This restaurant has been out of business since March, We drove over an hour to get there and doors locked and sign on window. Closed March 3!!!

The steak and atmosphere was good. The service was outstanding. They need some help with making their sides better as far as taste.

Last time we ate there the food was not very good. My steak was tough. Service was fair. The atmosphere was not that good. Need new management.

We had the Filet and Prime Rib meal, along with appetizers and wine. The steaks were cooked perfect. The potatoes, vegetables and bread were also very good. We had great service, never waited a moment for drink refills. It's a fun place to go. I would highly recommend it. It was a pleasant drive out of Wichita

I love the home town atmosphere. There is a new owner and kitchen staff. They are making positive changes

I've eaten here three times, and I'm impressed every time. Last time in the special was prime rib. Phenomenal! The bartender and staff are friendly and courteous. Was informed last night that all steaks are cut right there in the kitchen. I recommend this place to anyone passing through the area. Open for lunch then dinner. I'm gonna eat here every time I'm in the area. Also they have home made rolls.
