Megan is the sweetest bartender ever! Was so personable an attentive to us. We live in co an she made us feel so comfortable! We'll be back!!!

Lucky's is a hidden gem. There isn't really a sign, just a lit arrow mounted on the outside pointing down to the entrance. The window is always covered with posters for the best upcoming shows. It's typically pretty low key, well, until a band inspires people to pack the place wall to wall on a Saturday night. It's got your typical bar type entertainment: a pool table & digital juke box but they switch it up a bit with a couple pin ball machines and a Galaga arcade machine. Theres a massive mirror behind the bar and a mural covering an entire wall with a hip mustached fella holding a PBR can that doubles as the men's restroom door. The bartenders are friendly and have great personalities. The drink prices are definitely reasonable and they switch up the specials on occasion to keep things interesting. I feel like its difficult to review your favorite bar. It's so much more than just a bar. Every time I walk in I'm guaranteed to see a friend, either behind the bar or in a booth. It's been the spot where I celebrate the good times and recover from the bad times. I've seen some awesome bands there and had some amazing times with great people there.

I loved getting to check out this Wichita staple when I was in town a few weeks ago. The bar staff was helpful and fun, just the right mix for our crew. We had a lot of different tabs open, and a lot of people coming and going, but that's their business and they're very good at juggling all of that. Since I'm pregnant, I didn't get to enjoy any drinkies, but they kept me in soda water and everyone seemed to enjoy their drinks. I also appreciated that they let us bring in our own food, in this case pizza from Picasso's. The space itself is nice and clean, and the booths are very comfy. I also love the PBR mural above the restrooms. All in, just a great little bar.

What can I say, I love this place. Reasonable prices, character for days, a pool table and a (internet) jukebox too! Lucky's has a recently renovated patio out back which is great when the weather is nice. It will soon include quartz heaters for the cooler months.The staff is friendly. Off the beaten path just a bit means that it's a bit quieter than other "Old Town" bars right after work and in the early evenings. It does pick up after 10pm most evenings and occasionally has a band, but not too often.A decent selection of premium liquors like bourbon if that is your thing, 6 draft beers and plenty of bottle selection. Standards like PBR, Highlife and Coors Orig. are $2.25 everyday. No need to look for a special.Lucky's just hits all the right notes for me. All the character of a hole-in-the-wall dive bar without making you feel like you need to take a shower when you get home. 5 Stars from me!

Lucky's is essentially my Cheers. Over the years I have fallen in love with this bar and it's very easy to do. The bartenders are always fun and entertaining, drinks are cheap, and there are always friendly faces hangin' at the bar. This bar is so supportive of the local community, from displaying locals artists to booking local bands, and the patrons are an indicator of that. There are pin ball machines and a pool table for entertainment and there's a huge patio with lots of seating. The digital jukebox has a huge variety of tunes to choose from but the bartenders also double as great iPod DJs if that's more your speed! Don't forget to leave your name in the bathroom on the chalk wall!

I'm a little surprised that I couldn't find Lucky's on Yelp. Perhaps, I am ruining it. We walked into Lucky's after finding out a friend was hanging out there. There isn't an overtly lit up sign on the building for the bar, which is located on the outskirts of Old Town. The name of the place is on the door though and it's near a string of tattoo shops.The bar is dimly lit with a juke box and a Galaga video game machine. The people hanging out seem to be pretty laid back and the bartenders are helpful. The bar has a decent liquor and beer selection and the pricing is pretty spot on. Lucky's also has live music and a great looking patio. The weather wasn't really the best the night we were there, but I could definitely see making a night of the place on a spring or fall night.All in all -- it's relaxed and casual ... the energy was pretty low-key. But I easily could see the level going to an 11 at other times, and I mean that in a very good way.

Great bar. Small, quiet, fun. Reasonably priced drinks, friendly staff, digital jukebox, and free pool! Traveling through Wichita and stumbled in, glad we did.

Talked to Crystal this evening over a couple of Jamison's with my friend. Nostalgic early 80's pinball machines make you want to navigate to them to burn off the daily rage from the office desk!Not much beyond the good selection of cocktails and tap beer. Place was dead at 6, but it was pouring rain too. I can see this dive doing well - it has all the makings of a totally analog bar from the 60's-mid 80's for sure. Other than that, just a quiet relaxing joint. Need to unwind? Try the music on the weekends and behave, you're not in Vegas! Cheers Yelpers.

Pretty much has what I want, full bar, smoking and drinking patio, music, and pinball. Oh and it wasn't crowded!
