I grew up near Watonga and still have a ton of family in the area. There have never been reliable and great places to stay in the past. I was surprised to hear this casino and hotel had been built. We visit Las Vegas a lot and this honestly felt like a smaller version of a Vegas Hotel/Casino. The staff were super attentive, knowledgeable and welcoming. Our room was super clean with high quality sheets and towels. It had tv, microwave and fridge. Bathroom was huge and had everything you could possibly need. We had a drink at the bar (excellent service) and spent some time in the casino (very clean and a great variety of slots) We didn't get a chance to try the restaurant but several family members eat there regularly and love it!! We will definitely be back!

This is my first time here with both my sisters and I am only going to post about the restaurant as we have not tried any gambling as of yet.... Soooo here we go,We ordered 1 Childs spegetti 1 adult spegetti, One quesadilla and one chicken fried steak one and a half hours later and still counting we are waiting for our food the maître d' comes over and we ask about our food he says that they are a bit behind and that he would bring us some complementary chips and salsa soda wait continues another 30 minutes before we got our chips and salsa and our dinner is still not here nobody checks on your drinks nobody checks to see how you're doing the service here is extremely poor I will not comment on the food because we haven't eaten yet..... due to the wait me and my sisters go get our players card and come back to still no food..... I can see waiting 30 mins for your food but over 1.5 hours for your food is unacceptable.....I will post about our gambling experience once we are able to venture out to that part of the casino lol... happy gambling folks

I am 18 and visited here with a friend and my parents. We were visiting Roman Nose State Park. We came into town to eat and went in the casino. We didn't have our IDs and were asked to leave. We went back to the hotel and retrieved our IDs. When we came back, we were immediately approached by security. We showed our IDs. The security officer just kept staring at them. Some conversation ensued. My mother questioned what the problem was. The security officer called for back up. We were told the problem was that we left and came back, to which my mother replied "because we went to the hotel to get our IDs." They just kept looking at our IDs for a full two plus minutes. Finally, my mother asked if it was because my friend was black. The security officer replied with the most bizarre response that he had children and they (or their friends?) were "colored." To which my parents questioned use of this antiquated term. My parents finally said "let's just go. They just saved us money." And as we walked away the security guy responded "well, y'all just saved us some trouble." My dad was like "what trouble? We came in with proper IDs and money to spend and you are just giving us a hard time." I am sure it must have been a racial issue or the security guys had some kind of power trip because there was absolutely no explanation for their behavior. We left at 9-10 pm on a Monday night in Watonga and drove the approximately 45 minutes round trip to the state park to get our Identification and came back...they acted like we went and had fake IDs printed at 10 pm on a Monday night in Watonga, America. ALSO, they had no handicap parking. Well, later on our trip we stopped and gambled at RiverStar Casino...They were super nice and had table games. We were glad to play there and that we didn't spend any money at Lucky Star Watonga, nor will we ever go to a Lucky Star Casino...EVER
