The paint section often has the same guy working there. Big guy - never smiles. He hates his job and it sure shows. He is so rude and acts like you just ruined his day asking for some paint. No wonder there is a sign right there on the counter to 'treat the employees with respect'. Wow. Seriously. Just the mere fact that they need to put a sign up shows everything you need to know. Many people probably complain about his attitude. I need to get paint a lot and I make a further drive to go somewhere else now!

Storefront, 5 stars, salesmen/women 5 stars, advertising 5 stars, delivery is a train wreck, how can they get every delivery order screwed up. I mean, I have spent $30,000 on upgrades to my house in the last 2 years and they have always done a great job inside the house and outside on the deck, appliances. But they're delivery supervisor, not so much. They can never find my order - let alone deliver it on time 'they say" it'll be delivered. I totally understand it once in awhile, but not every time. The sales folks know their business, why can't the delivery folks be on the same page? The delivery department brings whole customer confidence level in the Lowe's name down.

This Lowe's location is almost always our first stop for home repairs, appliances and remodel options. From a washer to a refrigerator, the appliance options are extensive and delivery is incredibly simple. We've worked with this location to plan new countertops in our kitchen and new flooring in our bathrooms and kitchen. We've always received excellent service at this location and are able to get our house back in order quickly. We've made purchases from a variety of departments - plumbing, lawn and garden, paint and more - and have had no trouble finding someone to assist us with questions and special orders. I've been to several Lowe's stores and continue to choose this one as my favorite because of the excellent customer service.

Lowe's just makes me happy! My husband and I went in to find new kitchen flooring and new kitchen countertops today and we had the BEST customer service in three different departments! They are trainees, old guard, and new guard, but the service is GREAT no matter who I talked to today! This is why I will shop here so often If I have questions or want to use a store coupon, I'm good to go! I have had bad experiences at Sears, Home Depot, and WalMart...but NOT Lowe's. I know they were busy and it's a Saturday, but they were just really great at helping me as much as they possibly could. The only reason I give them 4 out of 5 stars is that some of their products were not in store. If I could I would just make it 4.5 stars, but Yelp doesn't give me that option.

About 2 years ago we purchased our home in Wichita, KS. We found a Whirlpool D/W on sale at Lowes and also purchased a Whirlpool Reverse Osmosis and a Garbage Disposal. I believe that ALL of our faucets / shower fixtures came from Lowes, as well. I also selected a Granite Bathroom Vanity Top and the young man that helped me load it was happy to let me inspect it before driving home. On the reviews for this product on Lowes' website -- there were some complaints about finding chips on the edges.We had paint custom mixed in their Paint Department to match our newly installed Vinyl Siding and it was a perfect match!!After we moved in, we actually ordered a Bookcase and a Display case from Lowes. And all of my Paint products came from Lowes. I believe that our Replacement windows came from Lowes too!!

Prepaid for items said I would be called when order in. Didn't receive a call, they didn't pull order, my order put in regular stock. Had to go to both sides of the store 3 times in order to get my material. I pulled and loaded my own order. Rude employee. I did their job throughout this order. Need better process and better trained employees. Felt as if they were taking my money and running.

Tiffany who helped us in appliances was awesome. Giovani who delivered the refrigerator was outstanding.

Lowes on N Maize Road, Wichita, Tuesday mid-morning:200,000-square-foot store. 400 parking spaces. About 50 customers.4 employees lounging at the return desk. 2 employees lounging in the special order area. ZERO check-out lines open. Exactly 4 self-checkouts, lined up with customers because the single harried employee was having to help every one there. It's no wonder so many people are going to Menards up the road and buying like crazy.

Only self checkouts were open I don't do self checkouts so I left the merchandise and went to Menards. That is why I stopped shopping at home Depot.
