Had a contractor doing work on a rental in Ponca City. I called 2 days before job started to give the Pro Desk my Lowes credit card info. On the day my contractor picked out the materials the woman I had given the info to was off. No problem, give it again. The woman was extremely short with me because the computer had timed out before giving the # on back. She took all my info twice and said okay. We hung up. My contractor called 5 minutes later and said she said my card was declined. I knew I had zero balance and a $7700 limit. She had made no effort to call, explain, see if she had punched the card number wrong or try and get another credit card. She just refused the $1100 sale!! I called the customer service desk, explained the situation and asked for a manager. This woman told me I needed to call the Lowes credit card company first because the girl in the Pro Service desk hod worked there 10 years and knew how to run a card!!! I then called back AGAIN and asked for a manager. They said he was going back there to the Pro Desk to check on it. The manager checked my credit card account on the computer (evidently this is rocket science and the 2 women were too stupid to do it)?? He said I did have $7700 credit and ran the merchandise. My contractor was able to leave after jacking around for 2 hours!! Evidently the lady with 10 years experience made a mistake or was just being a bitch about the card. She never bothered to recheck it or help my contractor more. Either way --- terrible service from everyone. I will buy stuff from Home Depot and transport it 120 miles next time!!!

Lowe's Ponca City is the worst store I've dealt with in years. We have wasted numerous hours waiting for assistance and for items to be pulled for our deck. Then the wrong things are pulled so I've to start all over again. Took 3 attempts to get items delivered cause no one apparently has a brain cell and knows how to use them. As a new home owner we could potentially give Lowe's a lot of business but I'll choose o go elsewhere from now on.

Purchased a washing machine on Monday 3/26/17. They were out of that particular model, so the appliance guy told us that he would give us the floor model and it would be delivered on Wednesday 3/29/17 in the morning. Fast forward to Wednesday morning and no one calls or shows up. I call to check on it at 11:29am, a woman tells me it's loaded on the truck and they'll call me back once they get ahold of the driver to find out the ETA. 11:45am, I get a call back. The man tells me that it turns out, someone bought the last one yesterday...and they have no more. I sit there, stunned as he gives me a several excuses such as, "Well, it sometimes happens, but not very often." "You never know with computers, someone can see it and not know that it's been sold already because it's still sitting there." Then he says, "Oh, they just found another one. We can bring you that one, it's in a box, so it won't be the scratched up floor model." I said, "Will that be today? Or tomorrow? I have to work this afternoon, and have wasted 4 hours waiting for someone to call me and let me know they were on the way." He assures me that it will be here on Thursday morning, all the while talking over me while I try to ask questions. Who in the hell lies to someone and tells them, "It's loaded on the truck," when it's nowhere to be found??? And then gives me excuses so it doesn't look like it's their fault?!There is no excuse for this terrible customer service. If it isn't here by Noon on Thursday. We will be getting a full refund and going elsewhere.

This is a very large store with a huge selection of home improvement items, appliances, lawn and garden. The store is normally well organized and clean. The staff is helpful if you can find one. The one true challenge of shopping in this store is finding help. The prices are great and sometimes they have large ticket items on clearance for an extra great buy. Whether you are re-doing the kitchen or a whole house, this is a good place.

I am posting this for my father. He went to Lowe's Saturday 6/18/16 to purchase a window air conditioner for his rental house. Locating and purchasing a unit was business as usual. My concern comes when my father asked for help loading his purchase into his truck. He had to wait 20 minutes for someone to even attempt to assist him, after the checker closed out her register to hunt someone down she started asking who could help. The first employee made a comment "he is a big guy he should be able to load him self" after he asked to return his purchase due to the wait. My father is a tall man, how ever he is in his 60's and had a stroke 14 years ago. So he would need assistance to safely put his heavy purchase in his truck. My dad did end up getting help about 30 minutes after he completed his purchase. The guy that helped him load his purchase also made a comment about it not being hard to load. My father felt he had to explain his medical need for someone to assist him load not load it for him. We are understanding of sometimes needing to wait due to Saturday being a busy day, however the comments made because of what the employees thought my father was capable of are un-except able. If I lived closer I would be talking to the store manger. I hope the employees can be coached to assist when asked with out judging or making rude comments to their clients.

My husband and I drove to Stillwater to get lattice board. We live 25 miles from Stillwater Lowe's. They only had one in stock priced at $32.48 in Stillwater. We needed 8, so we got online and the Lowe's in Ponca City had plenty and that store is approximately 45 miles from Stillwater. So we get to Ponca City Lowe's, but twice my husband asked for help to load them and twice, no one would help! There was a young man at the checkout just staring at my hubs, but he didn't lift a finger and may not supposed to, but he didn't call for help either. My husband loaded them, and has a bad back, and I went to customer service to let them know about the lack of help twice and left my phone number to have the manager call me. She wouldn't let me speak to the manager. Then, we get to customer service because there were no prices on them or signage. We ask a different customer service person if they would honor Stillwater Lowe's price because Ponca City had them $5/sheet higher. She says, "I'll go ask my manager". Oh, the one whom I couldn't talk to? She comes back and tells us he says no. So we left a $5 gallon bucket of sealer and the lattice, $400 worth of goods not purchased because of the horrible lack of service there and no price match between Lowe's stores. We will NEVER be back!!!! Oh, and home is 45 miles away. Not happy at all!!!!So, we got a hold of Home Depot and got a great deal! $330! Thanks Home Depot!!!

This Lowe's disappoints me. Generally my experience in this store is very frustrating. Finding a helpful employee is time consuming and that person isn't likely able the help. My most recent experience compels me to rate this store. I planned a project in my house and ordered lumber from this store. I was told inventory was more than adequate. Delivery was scheduled and I was totally ready to complete the project on the weekend. While waiting for delivery on delivery day I learned that inventory of the most critical board was such that less than half the required quantity was available for delivery. My project wasn't happening and I was left to the task of returning everything in the house to normal. At this time I'm not sure when I'll be able to do the work but I am sure that this store has a big problem. I can't blame anyone at Lowe's except the store manager. I'll bet that person blames covid.

I'm not a happy fat lady today. I've been having flooring installed for the last several days. The guys were finishing up late last night (about midnight) and told me not to come back and I could sign off on the work in the morning. Oy Vey! They completely missed a room. They started to pulling up the old carpet but didn't put any new stuff down?! They didn't cover up the concrete slab as they were supposed to. There are no transitions between the new vinyl and old carpet. A section in the bathroom wasn't glued down. Ugh.

Some of the employees here are useless. They need more knowledgeable people. There's mostly young kids (in their 20's) who are more concerned about getting off work (if that's what they do) than to help a customer. Inventory on some items are not very good, little variety for colors. The best thing I bought there was 2 gallons of Valspar paint. She got the colors spot on, love it, although for the price per gallon they'd better get it right.
