Lotte

This is the best restaurant in Wichita. I was able to sit right in front of the kitchen and watched the Chef's work their magic. Small team but super tight knit.Food was excellent and very creative. Will definitely be back in a few months and this spot is a must visit when in Wichita. Reasonably priced and portions are fairly large.

We visited Lotte recently for a special dinner and it did not disappoint. They had just changed their menu and we started off with some Korean wings and the crudo, both of which were delicious. I had a cocktail, the Gin and Gourd which did not taste like I thought it would from the menu description, it was more citrusy, but was very good. Entrees were the sea bass with carrot risotto and the steak with a mushroom puree. My fish was delicious, beautiful crispy skin and the risotto was perfect with it. My husbands steak though was amazing, we were both scraping his plate at the end of the meal for another taste of the mushroom sauce. Service was perfect, great suggestions from our server and just the right amount of being checked up on. The restaurant is very clean and modern with a long Chefs table and funky light fixtures. Lots of light from the windows.

First off, it hurts me to not give this 4 or 5 but hopefully this platform is utilized for feedback. Ambiance and experience is 5/5. My 3rd time here and always consistent. Service great too, however server didn't know what quite a few of the menu items component were and also when I was giving feedback it seemed like he could hear me as I was giving negative feedback and his response was "great, thank you". This leads me to the food. I enjoy the menu very much and feel like it stretches my standard restaurant options without making it intimidating. Appetizers were great. Octopus, Korean chicken wings, "seafood toast" were great flavourful punches to get you going. Main courses were ravioli, duck, and steak. Ravioli nice and solid, felt perfectly seasonal. I don't order duck myself but the bite i had was excellent. Sweet and savoury, nice and tender. I intentionally ended with tender because that was definitely not what the steak was. My friend and I both got the steak and had exactly the same experience. No amount of chewing was breaking down the cuts we had. Utterly disappointed and confused by the decision made to serve a cut like that. You could easily see the gristle. Accompanied by the lazy man's version of potato mille feuille aka potato chips with mashed potato in between. Speaking with 2 friends since the dinner, they have also had very chewy steak. For $35 it was a disappointment that almost tarnished the entire meal. Dessert. Mic drop. Absolutely superb. Carrot cake, tres leche, apple tarte tatin. I'd order either of them again. Overall will still be making plans to return, but 100% will not be ordering the steak, and if someone at my table does, will make sure the wait staff actively listen.

Super cute and fun atmosphere! The food is absolutely amazing! Fresh and so flavorful! Our drinks were perfect! We had the oxtail gnocchi and lamb for dinner. The sauce was so good we needed bread to soak it up! The brioche bread is melt in your mouth good! We ordered the chocolate chip cookies and the citrus pavlova for dessert. Both were amazing! The menu rotates and we will definitely be coming back regularly! Highly recommend!

Food: 5/5 The food was great. Like everything we ordered was well appointed and flavorful. I would go back again because the food was very tasty but it is a bit pricy. Service: 4/5 The service was good but the server was eccentric and that made it slightly less enjoyable. I didn't think it was possible for the server to stay too long at the table or stop by too much but this server was not just overly friendly but it verges on just plain weird and made it hard to enjoy the meal with our group and have conversations because they interrupted us so many times and tarried too long. Ambiance: 4/5 The location is weird and was hard to find as the building is a converted office I think? The interior was dim, making the menu difficult to read and while it did create a more intimate atmosphere it also made ordering annoying. The design of the space felt like an ungainly mash up of two or three different genres. It felt like it was trying to be cottage core, brutalist and art Nouveau all at once. Despite this, the music was calming, the chairs were comfy, and the place was clean. (The design was definitely a choice, and maybe some others would really like it.)

Everything is amazing!! Best experience ever!! Exquisite flavors, beautiful presentation, and service is always top notch! They think of everything. We love sitting at the Chef's counter! Lotte is our favorite dining experience!!

Sliders, olives and tater tots were outstanding. Craft cocktails and the local IPA were perfect

The environment is so cool, I love watching the chefs cook and everyone is so inviting. The food was AMAZING

We ate at Lotte for the second time and had the same wonderful experience. Lotte is one of the finest dining experiences we have had in Wichita. The food is absolutely delicious, no matter what you order, and presented like a work of art. Bruno was our waiter and he went above and beyond to make sure we were treated as if we were royalty. The atmosphere is very romantic and quaint. We will definitely be returning.Kathy S.

The food was amazing would definitely be coming back! The Tuna Crudo was incredible, this restaurant was in immaculate condition and extremely clean.
