Los Tres Oros

Ordered the Chicken/Steak Fajitas & it didn't wasn't fresh at all. The service was very slow. The ambiance was a little to colorful! The decorative colored flags covered the entire ceiling. But the chairs had character. Overall, the food wasn't fresh, clean, & authentic. Very disappointed. Don't waste your time or $$$!

We were craving Mexican food on our road trip to Tennessee. Because we know when we get to Tennessee, good Mexican food is hard to find! Searching Yelp on the highway always provides good results:) The restaurant is not to far off the freeway, which is so convenient when you're on a road trip. The front of the restaurant is a little old school, but I find sometimes these are the best places for food. The minute you walk into the restaurant, you are greeted by nice staff, and dazzled by a bright and beautiful dining area. You immediately hope the food will be as good as the decor. Los Tres Oros did not disappoint. I had the combination fajitas which were so good! Hubby had the combination plate with a taco, enchilada and chili relleno. He said it was good. I always judge a Mexican restaurant by chips, salsa, rice and beans. All were very flavorful, but we felt they could have given a little more rice and beans with the meal. All in all, definitely worth a visit:)

The food is very good. The service was friendly, professional, accurate. The atmosphere is festive. It's hard to find a place more welcoming and just special.

It was a joy in my mouth . The seasonings were on point . Sometimes you go to Mexican restaurants and the food is geared towards people who don't like seasoning - not this place . The seasoning was amazing from the cheese dip to the quesadillas to the grilled chicken - yum . Not what you would expect in the middle of no where Kansas . Thanks so much. The service was superb and prompted . The restaurant itself is so cute . I love the chairs and super tall booths . It was just a fabulous experience on such a dreary and possibly very snowy day . Well, went there and they are CLOSED! No sign, no hours, no sign of life in. Tuesday. Really disappointed, but found La Curva further into town.

Went to eat at 5:30pm this evening and the doors were locked. Too bad we probably won't be back.

Waited TWO HOURS for a burrito, one taco & a side of rice. They were busy but you would think they had never been busy before. Our server never once updated us on our food without having to ask what was going on. Atmosphere was cool but probably won't be back due to long wait & lack of service

Tried this place out on a road trip based on the reviews. Was fairly busy so seems like the word of mouth and location near to hotels is helping it. Was clean and ambiance was very good. Staff were severely short handed but working hard and doing a great job keeping up. I wish I could give it a better review because the atmosphere and service were a 5 but the reality is the food was very so so. To be fair I am judging coming from a home area that is full of great Tex mex and authentic Mexican cuisine. That being said the recipes were all the classic Mexican dishes but the ingredients of most everything was lower quality. That may be all they can get in this area or maybe all they can afford at the price point they are at. But the end result was fairly mild or bland food. However their chips were excellent and they have Mexican cokes which is a plus to me.
