Very cute place. I was in town for my mom's Birthday and looked up bakeries. For a town like Manhattan you'd expect more choices but this was it. I looked it up online. Online it said they offer grab and go cakes but no guarantees so I tried to call the number listed to ask ahead of time. No answer. I was calling within business hours. I decided to just drop in. The place is adorable with an amazing outdoor seating area and great seating inside. They had a good sized lunch crowd. I went straight to the bakery counter. No full cakes. They had like 3/4 of a Halloween cake being sold piece by piece. The date was 11/2. I asked someone about cakes and all she said was "not today". They had adorable little personal cheesecakes but at $7 a pop- not something I could get for my mom's Birthday. She didn't try to offer me a solid price for the 3/4 cake that was clearly a few days old. You'd think they would want it out the door. I ended up leaving with nothing and settling for the Hyvee bakery. Leaving was a bit of a mess. The parking lot is crazy confusing and I was forced to exit out of an area that said entrance only. The only other way out of the lot was between buildings and it was blocked. I'm guessing this is a great place. Just not for me on this day.

They've made my birthday cake the last two years and I've enjoyed it so much! They definitely know how to make a carrot cake!

Great little gem of a bakery!! They offer small items like pastries and also whole cakes. On certain days they also offer lunch items like fried salami sandwiches and meatloaf sandwiches, both of which were phenomenal. They don't really have much of a seating area but there's one table inside and a picnic table outside.

Little Batch Co. is a local bakery that sells at the Farmers Market and through online ordering. There is a huge variety of items to buy, including bagels, cakes, tortillas, breads, cookies, hand pies, rolls, and even homemade pasta! We have bought a good number of these, The salted caramel pretzel peanut butter cookies were a hit at an afternoon tea we hosted, and my husband loves the blueberry bagels. I had never tried an apple cider doughnut cake before, but wow, it was so good and had a cinnamon sugar topping reminiscent of a churro! The caramelized onion focaccia was fantastic, and I cannot wait to try the beet fettucine and pumpkin sage farfalle pasta I got!

Oh my goodness. I called Little Batch in a panic when my grandmother was unable to help me with my wedding cake. I was literally like three weeks out from my wedding (which happened to also be a holiday weekend) and needed a showstopper cake and a sheet cake for 100. I was striking out left and right until I spoke to Little Batch. Hannah was so so so sweet and didn't even balk at my vintage wedding cake reference photo. Cannot stress how happy I was with the cake when I saw it. Literally cried. It was exactly what we wanted. The only thing that made me happier was actually eating the cake, which was so damn good. Every guest was enraptured by this cake. The smartest thing I did for my wedding was overshoot on the number of servings so I could have leftover cake. Have absolutely nothing but glowing things to say about Little Batch. Will be back again and again. Great people, great food, great at their job!!!!Thank you Hannah & Co!!!!!!!
