I am drawn to the Lexus brand due to the reputation of its cars and dealers, but after dealing with Lexus of Wichita I'm questioning that desire due to their questionable business practices. I requested to move forward with purchasing a Lexus from them on Sunday night, then followed-up again on Monday morning to confirm. Turns out, the sales person I was working with (Benjamin) got in late on Monday and they had already sold the car to someone else AFTER I requested to reserve it. He admitted I lost the car due to him coming in late, but wasn't willing to do anything about it; not even an apology. A manager (Josh) also never gave me the courtesy of returning my phone call, which I expect from a questionable used car lot, but not a Lexus dealer. If you decide to work with this Lexus dealer, hopefully you can deal with a more professional sales staff and don't get screwed like I did.

Where to begin. I love Lexus but this dealership group is lost when it comes to customer service. I kick myself In the ass for driving over 3 hrs to buy here.Issue 1. Ready to drive the car home. Tire pressure shows low. After checking the tire there's a plug in the side wall. Illegal and dangerous. How does a certified Lexus rep miss something so basic? Now I have to get a new tire for a car I haven't even drove. They said they'd cover the cost. Now my issue was should I drive on one new and 3 other worn. So i bough 3 of the 4 tires for a car I haven't even drove. Thank you Lexus of Wichita. Took over a week to get the car to me.Issue 2. Temp tag expired and no new tag. Lexus of Wichita solution - drive on expired tag even though it's illegal. That's not an option in my head. Just get me my tag.Issue 3. Told the day tag expired they needed more info. They had 2 months to ask for this. When I got car I asked if I needed to do anything. I was told No, we handle it all. That was certainly not the case.Issue 4. Finally found paper work on my own and talked to my states DMV. They said I can't get tags because LoW didn't sign the bill of sale. Wtf how can a major dealer forget something so basic?Issue 5. After figuring that out I go back to DMV. Now the money they charged me to handle the paperwork for me was to much. DMV won't give change. After asking what options are I was told I could self pay or send check back to LoW and get correct amount. Both options suck. Wait for new check which would probably take forever and drive on expired tag or pay from my own pocket and wait for new check. I paid myself and regret ever going to this place to buy a car..Issue 5. It's been a week and I still haven't got reimbursed. Over 4000$ they have of my own money and It seems like getting it back to me is not that important to the people who can make this happen.I don't want to bash anyone by name but getting sidelined and ignored and treated like you aren't important after such a big purchase is degrading. I regret buying here.My suggestion isn't stay away from this dealer it's run from the whole Walser Auto Group!!! If anyone in corporate is reading this you should hold your head down in shame. Your handling of this situation and your support to your people sucks! Don't think they don't know this because they do.I won't call names but you are like the drunk uncle everyone hates. Your people smile in your face but know you are what you are. I can't tell if it's lazy, incompetent or just lost in the money you make and don't Give AF about your customer or people who work for you. My suggestion is re evaluate your position and hire people to help and start new CS training.Again to anyone else save the headacheBUYER BEWARE!!!!Let me say if you are in and out and look over the car well or buy new you probably won't have a bad experience. If you need anything after your sell you will have a hell of a time getting help. Turn em and Burn em shop! Please don't respond with the basic sorry for your experience, we'd like to discuss this reply. Just get me my money back and we will NeVER cross paths again.

We bought our used Lexus GX460 2 months ago, the paper tag expires tomorrow & we still haven't received the title. 4 weeks ago we got a call that they need to send someone to pick up the vehicle to take it back to Kansas so the Highway Patrol to confirm the VIN. We didn't like the idea of some random person taking our new car and making the over 100 mile drive from Oklahoma & elected to take it back ourselves. A manager said he would pay for our gas, that also never happened. We will probably have to pay late penalties at the Oklahoma tag office when we finally do get the title. We finally got the title by overnight delivery & late penalties came to $175.00 for us on top of our trip back to Wichita to get the ball rolling on the tile.

I'm making a formal complaint on Google and with the operations manager. Called 4x no answer for service unacceptable then telling me to pull into the service garage they will take care of me today and then telling me no time to take care of me today or this week but maybe we can get you in possibly next week. Bogus! Also advised today my wonderful Sales Customer Support Manager Grant Smith has left for another position. They did not offer another person to help take his role while I was in there trying to get my car serviced. To say the least I am hoping to hear from someone soon to get this crazy resolved. I really didn't expect this from you Walser Lexus when selecting you to purchase my car from a year ago.

Nice dealership and friendly sales staff. Our problem is with the vehicle and being ignore afterwards. Wife and I purchased a Ford Expedition and yes we seen it had a cam phaser and shuttering issue which Ford issued a customer satisfactory program to del with the problem. Now after driving home all is good but 2 days later it wasn't and this vehicle is shuttering and not shifting correctly, major problem and I notified our salesperson and the finance guy. I mentioned I wanted to bring this vehicle back but was ignored. Shame on this dealership for putting profit above customer expectations.

This is an update because it won't let me post a new review of the same location. We found a used vehicle we liked at Lexus and strictly due to convenience decided to trade in our car. The sales associate was amazing, I won't post his name because I don't want him tied to a terrible review but he seems like a nice guy and was very apologetic, not pushy, empathetic, etc. Anyways, there's a lot to this but I'm going to give you the cliff's notes- first, General Manager Scott reduces the amount we've agreed upon for trade because it's been longer than 7 days since they gave us the trade in value (it's been about 3 weeks so whatever, not a huge deal) husband goes to sign the sales contract and the price is $2,000 higher than the sticker price on the car. Not even some new, negotiated price, it's higher than the STICKER. Manager comes in, pulls it up online, tells us my husband he's mistaken, price is as posted online. Husband tells manager to go get the sticker. Someone says they threw it away already. Husband presses issue, sticker is produced, sticker price is $2,000 less than what they've put in the sales contract. Manager says he's sorry but they RAISED the price last week and it's actually the $2,000 higher price. Yes, that's right, they increased the price of this USED car but forgot to update the sticker so if we want it then it's the more expensive price. And you are correct, they refused to honor the posted sticker price pulled off the windshield of the used vehicle sitting in Walser Lexus parking lot!*pause for laughter and head scratching*This concluded our business relationship and we will buy one of many, many other used cars out there. Not sure why Walser and Scott thought they could scam customers like this? Makes me sad to think this obviously works on some people. Such an unethical way to conduct business.

I give the dealership a thumbs up for customer service. It's a luxury car so expect to spend more even just for oil change or tire rotations. Tangela is amazing when it comes to helping and trying to help solve an issue. I give it a 4* only cuz they are so pushy when it comes to small repair staff. I go for oil change and they bring me several issues wanting me to address and they keep pushing for me to do it. Service is expensive just cuz of the name compared to other car. They are so nice about loaning you a car for several days while they repair your car. Loved that about the dealership. For a Great service be prepared to spend money.

I bought a Lexus ES350 July 1st, 2022. I live in Tulsa, Oklahoma and they delivered it to me. However, the delivery guys went through Kansas tolls. I hadn't even signed the papers for the car and I got tolls in the mail. I've contacted the dealership numerous times and they continue to say, "We will take care of it". It is now August 24th and I just received another. This is not acceptable!! That's BAD BUSINESS....Don't let them deliver your car unless you are ready to pay tolls you didn't drive through.

We are from edmond oklahoma and found this dealership had a RX350 and it was equipped just as we desired. We dealt with Vee and his team. We were very pleased in all aspects of our transaction. I would give them an almost perfect 5..and encourage you to do business with them. They are good honest people who enjoy doing business with you and appreciate your business. Job well done
