We took our grandblessings to watch Dogman. It was such a cute movie! We had popcorn & some candies. It was good! Seats are comfy. The movie looked good on the movie screen. Also staff was friendly & quick. Will definitely be back!

I know this theater gets a lot of flak. The truth is it's one of the few theaters in the middle of nowhere where several different towns can actually come and see current movies. And the prices aren't half bad. We went and saw the new Star Wars movie All 4 of us for 20 bucks. Can you beat that? Lakeside theaters has been a staple in Woodward for as long as I can remember. Not to date myself but I actually remember when there was a drive-in theater here along with the other three theaters. It's one of the few things in the community that keeps bouncing back. Even after being demolished by the tornado it was rebuilt. This community and the communities around it depend on this theater. I for one am very thankful this theater is still around and plan on frequenting it everytime I go visit my parents.

The Lakeside Theaters have closed down. The facilities were purchased by Woodward Christian Academy. Now the closest movie theaters with full-time schedules are in Elk City (80 miles) and Enid (90 miles). There are also part-time theaters with limited showtimes in Alva (70 miles) and Buffalo (35 miles). A REAL shame!

Prices are good. Seats r comforable. However young children are allowed in rated R movies, example Deadpool is a great movie but not at all appropriate for kids, lots nudity, killing, cursing... seriously do they even care about the ratings when they sell tickets? People are also allowed to bring their infants in, then let them cry while your trying to watch the movie. With all that in mind it's the only movie theater in town so I'll keep going.

The new theatre is up and running after closing down. If you go, get there on time. ZERO movie trailers. It starts exactly at show time. Stay away from the popcorn, it gets salted by the same teenagers that salt McDonald's fries. Needless to say, not even edible with the two pounds of salt. Yuck. Last, the bathrooms were filthy. Makes a small country town theater feel like the ghetto. Next time, drive to Walmart, buy a movie and stay home

I read through some of the old reviews and thought I might offer a current review. I have never used the credit card reader so I can't comment on that. The theater is no longer owned by the Christian Academy and hasn't been owned by them for several years. I go to the movies maybe 12 times a year, since the new owners took over and renovated, and the bathrooms are always very clean. The popcorn is salty but I don't mind it. I love that they have several movies to choose from and they offer various show times on the weekend. The staff are young, so my expectations aren't very high, but they are all helpful and friendly. I appreciate that Mitchell Theaters was willing to come to Woodward and provide us a place to watch movies on the big screen. They will continue to get my business.

The credit card reader at the entrance didn't work so they suggested I purchase tickets online while I stood with my family at the entrance in the way of other patrons and when I asked for the guest wi-fi password none of the employees seemed to know it which left us standing in the way- still. In our attempt to be polite movie goers we only brought one phone in with us so of course none of my banking info was saved to my kids phone. By the time I accomplished entering my card info onto their website it wouldn't accept payment for a 6:50 showing because it was 6:52 at that point which practically forced us to purchase tickets for the 7:15 showing. So, back to square one having to reenter my card info on their website using standard data speed on my kids phone. The staff failed to mention that everyone we were standing in the way of had been paying on the card reader that started working at some point and never cared to say anything to us about it. Careless and inconsiderate customer service as well as zero communication skills. I don't expect anything from anyone other than to get what I'm paying for. The only thing I really wanted to do was have a movie night with the fam. and they made sure our evening got a horrible start. Jurassic World Dominion didn't disappoint though, it was great but the experience around it was TRASH.
