When we stayed it was a battle site with construction. Breakfast such as it is is inly till 9:30. They also text and email you...when are you arriving, when are you checking out. Aside from the familiy of elephants above our room the sleep was okay. The elevator was on and off again facilitating 2 trips to the 3rd floor hauling luggage. The manager seemed ro imply it was a regular occurance.

This is a beautiful hotel. From the moment we walked in the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were spacious and the bedding was soft and comfortable. I had eggs for breakfast and they were good and I got an awesome workout in in their fitness center. Parking lot was well lit and the pool was clean and warm. I would definitely stay here again.

Pros: 1. Price2. Indoor pool for winter time.3. People were nice.4. Have a breakfast buffet which is rare now as we go back 100% business but they expect a mask in June :(Cons:1. Wifi is horrible and open to everyone.2. The rooms have not been maintained. Old style HVAC with little control. Tile and grout cracking. Tub with chips. 3. The hot tub is taped off and not working. The pool is aged.4. The coffee pods are the wrong size for the maker so water spills everywhere. 5. Parking at a premium.

I was hesitant about this hotel due to the bad reviews , but. we took a chance on it , the hotel is doing remodeling on the 4th floor we was on, but it was clean the front lobby looked very nice , we was greeted by Marisol the front desk employee, she was very friendly , Andrea did a great job on our room it was clean, the air would only go to 66, so it did take some time to get it cooled down , that is why i gave it a 4 star , Shy did a great job on breakfast, and she stayed busy the entire time we was down there making sure the tables was clean and the food was stocked , she constantly was wiping down counters and tables , if the trash was full it wasn't for long she really takes pride in her work .. Check out was fast ,

We routinely have been staying at the Dodge City and or the Witcha KS La Quinta for several years. They use to let pets stay for free now they charge $20 per night per pet. That is not so much the issue. The issue is with the Doge City Location. They always seem to over charge my husband. They always seem to neglect the military discount. They always seem to be rude to him. The hotel is also in dire need of updating as I am sure it has been decades since they have had a face lift.

I had a confirmed reservation for weeks before arriving. When I did arrive, I was told my reservation was cancelled and told to leave. I have never been treated by a hotel as poorly as I was treated here. I tried three other hotels, all full. Going West from Dodge City there isn't a place to stay until close to Santa Fe. I finally found a room at $130 more per night. I have the paperwork to prove all of this. I understand that sometimes a reservation isn't a guarantee, like during a disaster, but it was the attitude of the clerk that really made me want to warn people not to count on this hotel.

Great value for your dollar. The lobby is beautiful, the staff friendly and the rooms are clean-clean-clean. Breakfast was amazing, with Alfreda (our gracious hostess) making sure the eggs and sausage were fresh and piping-hot, the biscuits and gravy ready to go, and restocking the fresh fruit and yogurt. The hotel is a half-mile tops from the Boot Hill Museum, which we LOVED. The Gunsmoke Room and fenced-in remains of the old Boot Hill Cemetery are easy to miss -- don't! We all enjoyed the noon gunfight and the colorful characters-actors who bit the dust (and miraculously revived at the Sheriff's offer of free whiskey). A tip of the Stetson to Dodge City!

The check in was fast and easy. We asked for recommendations for supper, they suggested the Cowboy Capital. Food was just ok, not what you would expect from cow country, service was not good. Room was good but noise level was high, maybe no insulation in the walls. We could hear the gentleman next to us cough and drain pipes are extremely loud. The next morning after little sleep we went to the continental breakfast. Food is horrible, tables and breakfast bar were dirty. We asked if someone could clean the tables and breakfast bar, we were told they must be busy. We stayed about 10 minutes longer visiting and nobody showed up to wipe things down.
