La Galette French Bakery and Restaurant

Mousse had barely any taste unfortunately but it was a great texture. The red velvet cake was edible! The chocolate cake and tiramisu were either old or over soaked, just really mushy and gross. Meringue was overcooked, or old. I was really excited to try this place... the service was good and it's cute on the outside and quaint cute on the inside... just let down by the bakery items. My mom also got hot chocolate which is just Swiss miss packet with gloopy whipped cream, she did not like it. I got the raspberry iced tea and it was tasty!

I found this place by accident, and ate lunch there. The menu is on a blackboard behind the counter and you order at the counter. The service was attentive and the food was very good. The decor is basic. The business was well patronized by what I took to be regular customers. Having eaten the food, we bought some of the bakery items to go, some pastries and some quiches. We ate those today at home. The quiches were amazing.

This remains one of our favorite linch spots in the Delano district of wichita. Always a great selection of pastries with great soul, quiche and a few sandwiches

Disappointed. I was expecting much more based on previous reviews.I came in for a croissant and coffee. The bakery items were wrapped in plastic suggesting they were from the day prior.My quiche was microwaved and the coffee was weak. And it all came with a slight attitude.Not impressed. Not French. Won't be coming back.

They have been probably the best almond croissant I've ever had in my life! Cannolis were too sweet for me, more like frosting filling instead of ricotta. Again, personal preference but I also wished the red velvet frosting had more cream cheese flavor.

just stopped by this place to get an apple turnover and some other pastries and everything looked good in the case until you pick them up and they're stone cold probably baked yesterday. Needless to say, this is very disappointing as this used to be a favorite spot.

Very happening restaurant in Seneca/Douglass area. The cashier was busy so no interaction except order your food and next in line. Parking in front is limited but found out there is more space to the back of the restaurant to park. Potato soup is creamy and delicious. Fattouch salad was fresh and good. Hubby got the pastrami sandwich on French bread which he says was delicious. I should have stuck with the sandwich but I wanted to try the chicken crepes. It was not to my tasting unless you like creamy mushroom soup allover your crepe with chicken. I did not like it. Do not forget the amazing dessert that they have.

Fast and friendly service. Also great foods definitely recommend coming here. I usually come in on the weekends during my breaks. It's great because I can usually get in and out within my 30min time frame. My favorite thing to get there is the spinach quiche.

La Galette is a great go to for French comfort, food! I have never had a bad soup. Their quiches are very good. Their rice pudding is to die for! I have never had a bad meal! Whether I am craving something savory or sweet, this is the go to place on my list! I

The Hispanic women who works there are the best, they are very kind and attentive, they always have an smile for you, I love the service they have, and the dessert are the best, they are not to sweet they are just perfect I love the place
