Not a fan, the tables were dirty and noticed no effort was made to clean them after other diners left. The portions were all good sized but the food itself was very bland and lacking any seasoning or flavor. Some of our food lacked things stated on the menu while also adding things that were not listed. Overall disappointing.

Easily the most food you're going to get on a plate in this part of the county. I mean, if you leave La Casita hungry, then you just aren't trying. Found past Main in downtown El Dorado, La Casita is serving up outstanding authentic Tex-Mex favorites. Family-owned and, at least by my guess, serving up family recipes, La Casita has everything you would want on a Mexican food menu. Authentic flavors are all over this menu, too. If you like your fare with a bit of kick, then ask for the green salsa. It's a bell pepper/jalapeño blend that announces its heat on the back end with a fabulous flavor. Pro tip: if you want *really* spicy, then the orange sauce is pure fire, so tread lightly lest you are a chili head.I though I was just ordering dinner when I selected the Sancho Burrito, but it turned out I was ordering for future meals as well. This burrito was ENORMOUS, stuffed with rice & beans as well as almost anything else. Seriously, it was enough for three people or two if they were ravenous teen boys. And it was delicious, generously covered in a savory sauce with the guac & sour cream nestled with the chicken inside. The boy opted for a quesadilla stuffed with steak and veggies, another Bunyan-esque portion that was amazing. I ended up taking some of both plates home as the portion sizes bordered on absurd, but the authentic Tex-Mex flavors are just as good as leftovers.Great service with family recipes, amazing foods with portions that satisfy, and I think I got out of there with a total bill around $21. Yes, $21. For both meals. Really? La Casita will see me again.

Stopped by on my way through town. Seems like a popular spot for take-out as the dining area is small and I was the only one there. Lots of foot traffic for the take out. Quantity of food is pretty good for the money. Food was delicious and flavorful. I had the enchiladas and had plenty of leftovers for the road. Service is pretty good and staff were friendly. However, the dine-in area could use a bit of a cleaning - plenty of flies hovering around me when I was in there.

It is a treat to be able to enjoy authentic Mexican food, not some spiffed up fast food tacos. The fried tacos are large, tasty and filling. Taco Tuesday is my favorite time to go, but I could easily work my way ug through the menu!

This place doesn't look like anything special from the outside. In fact, it looks quite rundown. But I have found that when it comes to Mexican food those places are often the best. I came on Taco Tuesday. I tried one hard corn and one soft flour. They were average. I don't think I would get them again. So why am I still giving this place five stars when I thought the tacos were only 2.5 star quality? Because everything else I rated as 8 out of 5 stars!I am not from Kansas. I honestly don't like living in Kansas and look forward to the day when my wife and I can leave Kansas and never come back. Prior to living here I spent time living in Texas, Arizona, and California, and I also spent lots of time in New Mexico because my best friend lived there. And none of restaurants I ever ate at in any of those states had salsa as good as what I had here. Heck, when living in Arizona I crossed the border into Mexico twice for no other reason than to eat, and the salsa I had there wasn't as good as this stuff. And after the underwhelming tacos I decided to try the enchiladas. Have mercy! They were so simple and yet a million times better than any others I've had in Kansas. In fact, these would stand toe to toe with the best red chile enchiladas I got during my four years living in Arizona. Actually, these were much better because the price was almost half what I used to pay over there. Three enchiladas with rice and beans for $7.99 is a whole lot better than one enchilada with rice and beans for $11.99. As long as I am in the area I can guarantee that I will be a regular customer here.

This place is ran by an honest hard working family with real authentic grub. They go hard with the tacos, but I have enjoyed everything I have shoved in my fat face here.
