La Casa Del Pastor

Very nice and clean. Excited about the food! Excellent service. Bilingual staff able to effectively communicate. We had been traveling for a couple of weeks and were pushing through, so just got our orders to go. We didn't order chips and salsa, but the queso cheese dip was very good. Five full meals for $75 was a good deal for the excellent food. It was all very good and authentic. I loved the cactus on the molcajete. What a nice surprise! Everyone enjoyed their meals. Highly rated! There are multiple options for great Mexican food in Liberal, Northern including a few taco trucks, but La Casa Del Pastor is very, very good. Give them a try and you will please your tastebuds for sure.

Found this place on accident but so glad we did. It was a fairly large restaurant, but we were the only patrons there on a Friday night from 7:00 to 8:00. Not sure why this place is not more popular. We loved everything we ate. The salsa was thin but had a delicious spicy flavor. The chips were decent. I ordered the cheese enchiladas, and they were really good, as were the accompanying rice and beans. My husband had the chile relleno, which came with tortillas and guacamole, in addition to the rice and beans. My only area of dissatisfaction was the failure of the server to provide refills on the chips and our water without our asking. However, overall, I highly recommend this restaurant and would eat here again if I were in town.

We stopped here on our trip from Minnesota to Arizona. It's a fairly large restaurant, but there weren't many people eating in there; however, there should've been a whole lot more. The place was immaculate, the food was delicious, and the service was very good. My husband had enchiladas, which he said were delicious. I had some thing I've never had before, Soupes. Two 3-inch circles with 1/2 inch lips were loaded with shredded chicken, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and crema. They appeared to be made from either corn meal or maize flour. Not a biscuit, more like cornbread, but more mealy. Maybe homemade? Chips were thin and crisp. Salsa was fresh-tasting and a little mild for us, but very good flavor. The woman who waited on us was full service; Cook, bartender, waitress, and busser. Stop here, you won't regret it.

Stopped in here on the way through Liberal. What a treat. Everything was good. The chips, the salsa, pork carnitas and the huarache. Even the soda is mixed perfect.
