Kwik Shop

The customer service at this place is a joke. The one kid claiming to be a manager had no knowledge of money orders, and after he failed to help me, he said come back the next day to speak to his manager.. a snobby, non-hygienic female who had the same level of intelligence as the other, who immediately denied to help me, and denied that the other kid even existed! Use a different gas station if you want anything at all.

I don't quite know why this place is on the list for food in yelp since it's a gas station, but I guess if you're so hungry you'd eat a sandwich from a gas station, this place is for you.This is the only Kwik Shop in McPherson. Service is great if you like snotty teenagers and burnt out middle-aged clerks who you really think would kill you as soon as look at you if murder wasn't such a big deal. Frankly, I find this to be a problem with most of the Kwik Shops I've been to. The only ones that really impressed me were the Kwik Shop by the community college in Hutchinson and the one by the John Deere in Lawrence. They are friendly, and they go out of their way to great you. Their pumps couldn't be more inconvenient. There's always a line because they have only four narrow pumps with horrible access to any of them. You expect a fight to break out at any time between the guy the who patiently tries to wait in what passes for the line and the octogenarian who obliviously pulls around him into a pump the instant it finally becomes free. I only go here because of my Dillon's Plus card and the fact that it can save me 10 to 20 cents/gallon once I've racked up enough points.

The place is dirty but not falling apart , employees are mostly ok except for a couple, the lot needs work too.

There are other gas stations in McPherson you can go to where the clerks don't have such a bad attitude, they should gladly help you if you need something, specially at 1AM when you're the only person there.
