I had some brunch earlier at this location while visiting a friend and it was absolutely delicious. My bacon and cheese omelette came with four slices of toast and hash browns. The serving size is well worth the very affordable price. My friend ordered three slices of French toast with sausage and again, the portion size was well worth the affordable price. We paid less than $20 for our meals together. This little cafe has definitely made its mark with me. Friendly fast service with a small town feel and the food was definitely coming out of what tastes like grandma's kitchen. I would highly recommend a visit to anyone in the area.

Spray for cockroach's grawking on tables, jelly, ketchup bottles. I really liked this place when I moved out here five years ago. It could have been ran over then too.

I would give it a higher score if the food they had served had been hot. They have to know the temperature of what they are serving. If it isn't steaming when you plate the food.... then warm it up! No one wants to eat Luke warm food. The service was good and quick. The place was packed too when we walked in too. Yes, there aren't any other choices to eat in this town for breakfast but it is great tasting food. I've been to restaurants that have screwed up eggs, bacon, and biscuits and gravy... horribly Their gravy was really good it just needed to be hot.We will definitely be back again. Hopefully I will be able to make it a 4 or 5 star

This is your typical out of the way restaurant. If you walk out of here hungry then it's your own fault. I had the Truckers Breakfast (with pork chop) and it did not disappoint. Service was fast and friendly and our order arrived in a timely manner even during lunchtime. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area.

This is a very typical small town diner. In fact, every time I come through here it's packed. Probably with locals. However, so is the subway right across the street. There just aren't many choices in Alma. I did a call ahead and order for a burger and fries as I didn't have time to go in and eat so I can't really rate my review on the inter-workings of the restaurant. All I can rate is the taste. Very simply put - "not too good" The meat was very bland with no seasoning what so ever and more than likely previously frozen. Frozen is ok as there's probably not too many places that use fresh ground meat, but for gods sake's put some seasoning on it! Even a little salt-and-pepper would go a long way. I'm sure it's a friendly, Hometown diner, but for me, never again. I know mine is the first review for this place and I'm sorry it's a negative one. It is what it is.

Just a basic cafe... not bad and not amazing. But hit the spot and did its job. Corn beef hash, eggs, and bacon. Had good coffee.

One of the few places left to eat in this town, the food is pretty good diner fare. Breakfast portions are enormous. Service is attentive and nice, and you will probably get called "hon". The decor...well, nothing has been changed for at least 40 years, literally. Some new flooring and a fresh coat of paint would go a long way. Prices are more than fair. On Sundays the church crowd comes out for breakfast and if you are sixty or under you WILL be the youngest person in the room.
