Second time eating here since we moved to Iola. Both meals have been great. Reminds me of the small grill diners. Hamburgers made fresh. We had the king hamburger and double bacon cheese burger. Great flavor and fresh. The suzies were also delicious. Cashier and cook were very nice as well. The atmosphere is older but with the feeling of older burger joints

Discovered this independent burger place when a highway detour took us through Iola. The burgers took a while, but they were worth the wait. Cooked to order and delicious. Sides are good too.

The buildings ambiance is spot on for what they offer, it's a genuine hometown burger stop. It will always be a little bit pricier than other places around here, however it's definitely worth the money. A big problem with restaurants around here is overwhelming menus they can't manage. King's menu is by far the easiest to choose from, it's small but they found what they do best and stick to it, anything you choose will be done to perfection.
