Khadim African Hair Braiding

Do not go here. I've reached out multiple times for assistance and now I'm being blocked and ignored when I'm just trying to settle the issue my hair was not even up a week. I paid $170 and she will not fix it nor will she give me any of my money back. I even asked for just half I will be taking a civil case out against this company and personally, I will be suing Nafi Diop not only for the unprofessional business that she has conducted but I was a loyal customer for 10 years and I am being treated like nothing. This is caused emotional trauma because everywhere I go my hair falls out it is beyond not to mention she will not refund any of my money for the horrible job that she and her workers did on my hair. My advice is save your money and go somewhere else I am not going to let her get over on me and steal my money when I did not receive the services I paid for. I'm filing a lawsuit against her and I will get my money back one way or another as well as additional for my mental suffering, and the fact that it's hard on me. I simply asked her to resolve this by refunding half of my money, and now I am blocked and she will not answer any of my calls. That is why I'm choosing to take her to court, so my review for this company is zero stars and if I can give any advice, please do research and go to someone else before you go here I don't want anyone else to get scammed out of their money for paying and not receiving the proper service.

Please avoid this place!! They did a terrible job, told me that I needed to relax my hair because the braided couldn't braid my thick hair! Customer service is non existent and it's the facility is unclean.

I looked at these pictures and this is not the work of any African hair braiding person and i have been to plenty of them they are neat and do some of the best work when it comes to african style hair sur they may braid a little to tight and can grab the tiniest pieces of hair and braid or add hair to it but never have i or anyone for that matter left this shop with their hair looking like this PROVE IT.

If you value your time, money and hair do not waste your time going here. This was a complete rip off. The quality or service was insulting and very unprofessional. We were quoted $30-40 dollars and once we went to pay was informed it was $70. This was our first time getting braids done so we were unsure of how the process worked. But it has been proven that clearly she didn't know the process as well, very shoddy work. The braids that we were advised would last about 30 days were falling out at day 2. When we called to see about coming in and getting them repaired. We were advised that we would be charged. We then asked for a refund after trying to reason with her about fixing/redoing the braids to be told that getting money back for not getting what you paid for or due to them falling out wasn't how refunds work. Where we were then informed that if we wanted them fixed we should have said something before we left. But the braids didn't start falling out until the morning of the following day. All we wanted was to have them fixed as my nephew saved for month to pay for his own hair and in less than 48 hrs braids are coming out and we were met with disrespect and insults. This was supposed to be a fun new experience for him to help build his confidence and let him take pride in his appearance and she mad him look ghastly. So instead of uplifting him and making it a fun, new and exciting experience now he feels even more ashamed of his looks. But instead of stepping up and owning the issue and correcting the problem she instead said we could have it all redone at cost or live with it.

Extremely rude, laughs at customers, and if you pay with card they will tip themselves whatever they want when they run it.

The best salon ever. The braiders are sufficient and make sure your hair is cared for. I recommend this company for beautiful braids and styles.
