Kettle

We stopped at Kettle on our long drive from northern MN to southern CA and it was one of the high points of the 2,000+ mile trip!We ate the day's special grilled cheese (provolone, sweet potato, kale, and some kind of delicious sauce), a cubano sandwich, and a Caesar salad, and they were all delightful. Apparently the cubano is very popular, as well as the special grilled cheese that's different every day. But the surprise was the homemade Caesar dressing and crispy fresh greens. My husband: "That's about the best salad I've had in years!"Plus the sweetest staff and an adorable interior. We might have to make this a stop on every cross-country trip!

Just passing through the local area and wanted a quick bite to eat. There was a limited menu but thought it would carry us through the afternoon on our way to Kansas City.I wanted the Kettle Klub but apparently they were out of condiments. Settled for the Dippy Doo - it was an unusual sandwich, in my opinion it lacked roast beef & creamy horseradish, and the dip rather lackluster.I must admit the Pasta Salad as a side was very delicious. I wish they would have put celery in and that would have been a great pasta salad.They servers were friendly and delivered the food promptly. This was a very casual atmosphere and rather quiet.

A different grilled cheese every week? IM IN! We love to stop by for coffee and the occasional music nights. The crew have always been super nice and smoothly handle the frequent large crowds the Kettle seems to attract. Always a good experience!

Cute & quaint shoppe. Kind service. Loaded nachos. Kids grilled cheese & chips. 3 beef sliders. Chicken salad salad. All looked great upon arrival. Tasted delicious. Prices were on point. Enjoy!

Just moved to Beloit and I've heard from many of my clients and colleagues how amazing Kettle is! Today was my first visit and it didn't disappoint! I had the Grilled Cheese of the Week and a side salad. Both were fantastic, especially the grilled cheese! It's amazing how you can spruce up a childhood favorite.I'm on call so I didn't have any of the specialty adult beverages, but I'll definitely be coming back to give those a try soon! Great job!

This is a great coffee shop plus so much more. You can order your coffee online and run by to pick it up in the morning or anytime. They have fabulous lunch specials. They also offer their own wine and beer selections and great dinner. The Kettle also provides live music and entertainers on the weekends. Many of the musicians are a local, but sometimes come from far away. Beloit is lucky to have this business in their downtown.

My family lives about 30 miles from Beloit and was ecstatic when it opened! We make a trip to Kettle every time that I'm in town and I'm always impressed by their creative menu and the quality of the food and coffee. The first time I came here I had one of their sandwich specials (I can't quite remember what it was) and a flight of local wines (I think the wine flights may be a Wednesday night thing?). While the wines were hit-or-miss for my taste, I loved the idea of serving local wines this way and would definitely do it again! Our table shared the nachos and they were great.The second time I had the Edgar Allen Poe Ruben and a latte to go. The sandwich was fantastic! This time, the special was a thanksgiving-style grilled cheese with turkey and stuffing + a side of butternut squash soup. Half of our party got the grilled-cheese special and I couldn't stop myself from stealing a few spoonfuls of the butternut squash soup! Another person had the Pork Chop Sammie. I think this was where some of the creativity in the menu really shone through! The apple chutney on the sandwich has some spice in it (cayenne?) that really adds a unique kick. The kettle is definitely the highest quality coffee in the area, and I make it a point to stop for some whenever I'm headed to or from a visit home. I'm sure I'll be back again during this coming Christmas holiday!

Family lives in Beloit and we always stop at the Kettle when we come to visit. My wife loves the Buzz Monkey drink and the various grilled cheese specials. I enjoy the Rueben as it's as good as any I've had. The owners are also very friendly and customer service focused. We love the Kettle!!!!

Stopped in for lunch and the food and service was just okay. Much room for improvement in both. I wouldn't tell a friend "if you're in Beloit, you have got to eat there".

Crazy cool place!! Sandwich, beer, and espresso for lunch? Yes, please!Plus: they had key Kim pie beer on tap.
