Kansas Oil & Gas Museum

This museum is top notch for several reasons! The first is that they have very detailed displays tracing the history of oil and gas exploration and production! They also have many artifacts on display including an old oil derrick. The second reason that this is a top notch museum is the curator, Mr. Dean Weis! Mr. Weis has four decades of oil & gas production experience. Many companies bring their young engineers so that Mr. Weis can give them valuable information that he has learned over the years!If you ever find yourself in Great Bend, stop in and have Mr. Weis give you a tour. You will not be sorry.

This is wonderful and very educational museum. We really liked Danielle the director/curator of the museum. We were given a fantastic tour by a volunteer.
