Kababji Grill

The mixed grill (consists of one grilled tawook (chicken), one grilled tikka (beef), and one grilled kofta with rice, hummus, and salad) was delicious. However, the yogurt drink was tart.

Fantastic food cooked by folks who know what they are doing. Flavorful kabobs, delicious rice, fresh salad. Great prices! Clean restaurant and bathroom. Wonderfully authentic.

Kababji appears to be Iraqi/middle eastern food. Prices are decent. Plenty of parking. Flavor is good. I would return. Ambiance: Standard quick middle eastern restaurant. Food: Manoushie with Cheese: Looks like bread with melted cheese. Tasted like a soft pita bread with melted salty cheese Combination grill with tawook, chicken, and Kofta. The Kofta was amazing. The chicken was a touch dry, but not too bad. The beef was a bit tough. The yellow rice it came with was flavorful. The salad had a bit too much vinegar, but was pretty good. It also comes with a side of Hummus which was also pretty good. We also had a yogurt drink. Made in house. I do not recommend this. Not good in my American taste opinion. Lastly we tried the baba ganoush. This was ok. Not as smoky as I would have liked. It was a bit bland. Overall, the place was a solid 3/5. I'd come back, but not overtly excited

I stopped here during a road trip because I saw they had "middle eastern" food which is hard to find. I had the braised lamb shank (i forget what is was called on the menu). I came with rice and a nice, flavorful, soup. I also ordered the cucumber yogurt.That lamb was great, but the yogurt was the best I've ever had. It was rich and creamy and a great sauce to have with the rice and lamb. I think they must have added cream or buttermilk or something. It was really great.I also ordered kanafa which is a hard to find In the US. Theirs was not traditional and not the best I've had but it was still very enjoyable. I would recommend this place although I haven't tried much of the menu. They did a great job.

I ordered the Kababji Sampler and they were out of one of the items. Instead of telling me and asking if I wanted to choose a different dish (I would have) the server said they gave me more of the other dishes. It's not a crime to be out of a dish, but you need to let the customers know. I believe the pita bread was stale -- it was so tough I could hardly chew it. The restaurant had what was clearly a set up for a buffet so I asked my server when they had a buffet. She said they didn't have a buffet anymore. They must not be doing very well because I had their buffet just a few weeks ago. That also might explain being out of some items and other items not as fresh as they could be.

Peaceful relaxed atmosphere, prompt accommodating service, tasty food with generous portions and very reasonable price.

I stopped by as an alternative. Was going to get lamb gyro from seseme. It was closed. Came here instead. if you value portion and flavor this is a Good spot. Seemed like a family owned spot and they greeted me and served me abruptly. As an aside, they also have Arabic coffee! I'll be trying thar next time I go.

Delicious food with good portions. Tried shawarma mix, lamb chops. Nice restaurant to have good, tasty halal options
