Always hang out here when I'm in town. Super chill, laid back, and everyone's friendly. Pool and music inside w a bar and cozy little booths and tables. Outside on the patio they have a big picnic table and several smaller tables for smoking and talking. They have good drink specials and the bartenders are amazing. Fun place to go if u just feel like hanging out and don't want to get all dressed up; it's cool bc here nobody cares about all that ha.

We always hit this spot when we come home for the holidays. We're only here in December so I'm sure the crowds are bigger at other times, but they make a mean, strong cocktail and a chance to make a quick getaway from the family for one night.

One of my fave spots! Ignore the review from KJ.If he wants to debate politics, he should do it some place else.Upscale Dive is a perfect description.The bartenders are friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is most welcoming.

My daughter's and I love going to Jay's, maybe a little too much sometimes. Yep, we are all straight but it doesn't matter as they are accepting of everyone. When one of the girl's says "lets go to Jay's" I say fine and don't even care what I look like...no getting ready for an hour in the bathroom because nobody really cares. We love sitting at the bar and talking with the bartenders and anyone else who feels like talking. They also have a really nice patio outside. We have met some really great people there. The drinks are great, they are cheap and Karaoke on Monday night shows some really good talent. This is what I call our little "Cheers" bar.

Being one of Wichita's few gay bars, this place is very relaxed and typically filled with regulars. I have been to J's several times and have always enjoyed the bar staff and their knowledge of the gay community.

Bartender treated me like a homeless person because I wanted to use the bathroom before I got my beer. Never going back. Way to stereotype people because they don't "look" gay enough for you.

Yup, a truly unassuming exterior & dive-ish interior. Classified as gay bar, but it was more of a 50/50 mix during my visit. Generally a low keyed vibe. Bartenders came across as indifferent. Neighborhood is sketchy. Give it another try?...sure.
