Yikes. Have to agree with the other two reviews for this place. 90% of what is sold here is junk. And it's pretty gross. But, there are two hidden gems here. If you're interested in rocks and gems, there is a stall in the back with a sign that says: "rocks and minerals". The man who owns it used to own a rock or a jewelry store back in the day and as a result has a lot of good stock. (He also sells coins, for those who collect those.)He was helpful and a pleasure to shop with and I look forward to visiting his stall again.Another stall, not too far from his sells vintage photographs. He had a interesting collection but unfortunately did not buy anything since my partner, who was showing me around the area planned to take me to their favorite spot for vintage photos. The reason I am giving this place two stars is not because of those two vendors. What they're doing is legit. I am giving this place two stars on the account of the other stalls carrying junk and that the environment could do some touch up. But then again it's a flea market so maybe that's asking too much.Tip: I would advise taking cash with you and not running your card.

They really have done a lot of work making the place look good. But it still has that flea market odor that gets in your clothes.

If you're a Steller it is the worst place to sell. They overcharge you Price ranges. $20-100. They need to hire new people. To change these ridiculous prices

Just bought a 40" tv at the Joplin Flea market seems to be working great. The vender even took the time to show me all the features this tv has to offer. Also very affordable.

The Joplin flea market has come a long way, with cleaning up some of the vendors and some of the traffic and inside. You're starting to see a few better vendors, and more of the variety of items that you cannot find in Joplin. Only one military surplus vendor in town and it's nice to see the inventory rotating and changing.

The only flea market around where you get to talk to the actual vendors. A mix of vintage and new, lots of different booths.

Joplin Flea Market has become really scary. I am an open minded, lower middle class person so please understand that I do NOT want to sound rude or elitist but it really seems like the vendors and clientele are bottom of the barrel, meth-user types. As a woman, I would not feel safe or comfortable going to the flea market alone. There is no reason to visit this place. Half of the stalls are closed down. Definitely be cautious when making purchases as scam artists abound in that environment and I've heard accounts of pickpocketing there too. If you have not visited this flea market in 10-15 years you will be surprised at how far downhill it has gone in that time.

They have really made a lot of great changes and it's much nicer than it was in the past! Lots of vendors with lots of variety.
