Took my mower in for repair, it took over 2 months due to part being on back order, "I looked up the same part and could have ordered it and had it within a week" but they claim it was on backorder from Honda. Since they had my mower for an extended time I purchased another mower. I had the mower back for 3 weeks before I used it, when I went to use it the mulching plug was not in it. I called them back and asked about it and they pretty much stated we couldn't have lost it, its not possible. I 100 percent know the mower went there with the mulching plug in it. From the first time I went in Jim's the staff is arrogant and not customer friendly. I wish I would have read the reviews before I took my mower there. Never Again!!!!! Beware they are perfect and don't make mistakes, what a joke!!!!Jerry Beall

Horrible service took my truck tire there to have a flat fixed that just had a nail in it between some tread and he called and said he couldn't fix it and that he scratched my wheel. Picked it up after work and come to find out my wheel is now covers in nicks and deep scratches.

Took a lawn mower in to get fixed, under warranty. They didn't test it to see if it started, they immediately started working on it (per the guy on the phone) . Apparently nothing was wrong with it, or something was wrong with it but they don't know what... that story changes depending on how nasty the manager (Brad) decides to get. He kept telling me that he had explained everything to me, he had literally said nothing of importance. I asked "what specifically was wrong with it?". Brad kept explaining to me what he did. He was giving me the most vague information imaginable. When I asked specific questions that he was unable to answer he became very combative. Of course he didn't want to talk to me, they didn't do their job correctly & they are being called out for it... by a girl! When I asked for the owner's name he refused to give it to me... can't imagine why!Just got off the phone with Larry. Water can get into the fuel which is why it was flushed, but the same fuel was put back into it. What a joke.Update: on phone with Lawnboy - explained that a brand new mower, with brand new fuel that is also currently being used in another mower, without issue, was b²rought into this place. They didn't test the mower. They flushed the carburetor bowl (on a brand new mower, only been used the 1 time). Left the fuel in it. Was unable to explain what they found when they flushed the carb bowl & then claimed that it was all fixed. The man on the phone immediately said "well, that sounds fishy.". Yeah, it sure does. A complaint has been filed through Lawnboy & if they continue to get complaints they will lose their contract with Toro. Anyone out there being told that they have to take their mower to this place because of a warranty please know that you have other options in the area!EDITED TO REPLY TO COMMENT: When inquired what was done the only thing mentioned was flushing. This was also the only thing on my paperwork. Brad stated that no one even attempted to start it, they immediately flushed it. Again, the fuel is absolutely fine. We are still using it in our other mower & it wasn't taken out of the one you worked on, according to Larry. If you would have replaced the fuel there would have been a charge for that, there wasn't (still, according to Larry). So I'll ask again - what was wrong with a BRAND NEW mower that had only been used that one time & had perfectly good gasoline in it? And while I appreciate the time you took to respond I find it very odd that you not once acknowledged that Brad has a horrible personality & didn't handle anything appropriately. Quit telling me what you've done & tell me what you fixed. Even Lawnboy didn't think that sounded right.

This is simple. My Echo blower was at Jim's for 37 days. It was never looked at. I called 3 times to ask about it EACH time I was told they would likely get to it "next week". I finally picked it up still not working. Here is a possible solution: hire more help. Success is not having lots of business. Success is DOING lots of business. Btw: a sincere apology would have gone a long way.

I took a brand new chainsaw in to a ask what was wrong since it would not start. I should have been leery when they stated that I needed to pay 35 dollars up front before they could even talk to me. The 35 dollars would be refunded if it was a warranty item. (Brand New!) I paid the 35.00. I stopped in 2 weeks later to check on the status of my chainsaw (Husquavarna 450), they had not even looked at it yet. They did pull it up to the workshop and they pulled the cord a few times and it started. They gave it back to me and said it was flooded. Guess what not a warranty item and they kept the 35.00. Crooks! Why would you buy lawn equipment from a business that does not stand behind them! I am just glad they did this before I purchased my new riding lawn mower.

I'm from out of town in which my rental car's tire pressure light was flashing low PSI. I stopped at Jim's to see if he could put air in my tires. It was 5:45pm and they close at 6pm. He said, "I'm sorry, we are closing soon and I cannot help you." I told him I was feeling unsafe and it shouldn't take long. He still declined. I said "wow" and walked out. Luckily, Firestone was just down the street and manager was very nice and helped me without hesitation.

Quick courteous service, very knowledgeable staff. Chainsaw was bought, they checked it, and filled up with all fluids. Ready to cut as soon as we left the shop.

After my unfortunate conversation with Brad this morning, I will go elsewhere for my startup equipment. Roughly $6000 worth. For his information, I have the full schematic of the engine to disprove his inaccurate, disrespectful claim to me. When you describe things in detail, and he tells you you're wrong and gets mad at me with a false assertion, there's no way I would deal with him again. Two years ago, I had a similar issue with him about a carburetor.

Replaced two stripped lug studs and replaced a flat tire very quickly and at a surprisingly reasonable price. They were very courteous, and I have nothing negative to say about the experience. I'll use them in the future.

This is a horrible place to Do business. We bought a brand new Toro riding mower. Less than 2 hours after we purchased the engine blew up. We immediately took it back to the store. They would not replace the mower. We could tell we were not the first this had happened too. Buy at your own peril.
