Jim's Country Style Chicken

Super clean restaurant with counter service. I ordered the gizzard dinner with two sides. It was brought to the table in 7-8 minutes. Very hot when it came out! I would definitely return.

Stopped by here during an overnight stay in area. During our half hour stay there was continuous customers coming thru door. You order at counter from menu board and they deliver to table. My wife ordered the fried shrimp, mac-n-cheese and corn which she enjoyed. I ordered the nspecial of chicken-n-pastry with layer of mash potato and green beans which had good flavor and was not over spiced.

Upcharge for everything and not worth the price. "Salad bar" is $5 and they neglect to tell you it is only a single trip. They don't tell you that until the woman with a limp is yelling at you for going back. Nothing polite about her communication skills at all. The food was mediocre but definitely not worth the cost. The service makes this place not worth visiting again.

I would go back. My expectations for chicken weren't high, however, the quality of their chicken bowl was great. I wanted comfort food and I found it. I would order their chicken bowl with a scoop of macaroni and cheese again. The restaurant itself was small and plain and the wait staff did not say too much outside of hello. Maybe dining in would offer another perspective as I just did pick up.

We had not been to Jim 's in over a year and decided to give them a try Saturday night and the food was excellent! The whole place has had a remodel also. If you're looking for good chicken, or a good chicken fried steak, this is the place!

Fast and fresh food ordered chicken gizzard meal with mash potatoes and gravy x2 and special of the day was chicken noodles over mash potatoes and gravy and that's what the mrs had and we ordered 10 piece family meal to take home mashed potato and gravy with Mac and cheese and it was all absolutely amazing the owner come out even filled our drinks and prepped for our take out and meal for home very nice and clean place down home cooking and fresh highly recommend to stop in and take a look at their fabulous menu and fresh hot food

All their food is good. Had their amazing chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes, white gravy and corn today.

Many people were in line which is a good sign. We all ordered the catfish special & it was the largest catfish fillet we'd ever seen. It was excellent & our server was too. I will stop here again to try the chicken.

They got some of the best catfish in town. I love the catfish dinner and get it most every Friday. It only cost a little over $14 and you get a huge piece of fish.
