Jct 4 Diner

We made a stop on our small town journey today to grab lunch at the JCT 4 Diner. The service was fast and friendly, the food was good, and you could really tell the community appreciated having a good place to eat in town. If you're ever passing through La Crosse give them a try!

Good food, good portions, good prices Service is usually good and professional. Breakfast ALL DAY The atmosphere is good. Usually run into a neighbor.

Staying in Timken there aren't a lot of options in this area for sit down dinners. This place was easy to find and conveniently located. There were 12 of us on a Sunday afternoon and the place was busy so we were divided into 3 tables. The waitress was attentive and friendly. Looking over the menu I was thinking of getting another cheesesteak and tater tots (I feel like I ate a lot of those on this Kansas vacation, LOL) but then I saw that the special was a Salisbury steak (for EIGHT DOLLARS!!!) so I ordered that...I think 2/3 of our party did. It came with mashed potatoes, green beans and rolls. Everything was swimming in sauce which was perfectly fine by for this southern girl! It was very tasty and you can't beat the price. This is great local establishment.

Went to the diner the other night. when we walked in there were people at three tables, two had been served and one was waiting on there food. we had breakfast meals for supper. we did not get 2 orders of hash browns and 1 order of toast. It took well over an hour to get cold food. the waitress was great, but the food service was NOT. Over easy eggs had to be sent back and the second order was just as bad as the first. When we first moved to La Crosse just under 2 years ago, the diner was a great in inexpensive place to eat. Not anymore. I will drive the 30 minuets to Hays or Greatbend to get a meal that is at least hot and what we ordered.

Great food in the middle of nowhere. Chicken Fried Steak was great. Service was excellent.
