Jayhawker RV Park

LOVE this spot! Highly recommend for anyone looking for an RV park in the area. We stayed a week and it's very clean and super secure. Several of the sites have nice shade, lots of room to walk the dogs, excellent wifi, and full hookups. The La Harpe Park is within walking distance and it's a nice, quiet spot. Owners are very friendly and the prices are reasonable.

Clayton is one of the rudest people you could come across. He started out seemingly friendly through text messages but that soon came to an abrupt end. The company that hauled our trailer to his site was a nice young man, pacific islander, shouldn't matter but it did to Clayton. He was extremely rude and said some racist remarks to the driver. Don't waste your time here.

Great place to be, stayed for months.Never once was there any negative situations while my stay here.I'd love to stay here again, work permitting. Great area for walking, bicycling, etc.Very attentive personnel, great vibes.

We've had a great time staying here for the past several weks. The owners were very professional, friendly, and helpful. Yes, there are cameras around the property, but anyone who regularly RVs knows how valuable this is for the safety of property and people today and most good RV resorts have them now. The grounds are beautiful and anytime we had an issue the owner was quick to help us out. He even let us borrow a heated hose while we waited for our new one after ours busted during the winter. There are also a lot of great walkong trails on the property that you can explore. If we are ever back in the area we will be staying here.

This place saved my night! I am from out of town and was driving through Kansas trying to find a place to park my car and rest my sleepy eyes late at night. I stumbled across this place a little before midnight and Clayton not only answered the phone but came outside and made sure I was set up for the evening. I spent the night sleeping in my car but with the assurance that I was safe, as the manager made sure that I was parked in a safe and well-lit spot. For a solo female traveler, I very much appreciated this extra step. Plus, he didn't even charge me! I recommend this place if you are traveling through the area and need some quiet, wide-open space to rest your wheels.
