Stopped by for some hair products & hubs came here to satisfy the sweet tooth. This review will only be on the treats purchased. He picked up two cupcakes & two cake balls. I'm not sure what kind of cake balls he picked up but I can say that my daughter & hubs liked them. They would recommend these in any flavor.Hubs had a cookie dough cupcake that he enjoyed & especially liked the surprise in the center which appeared to be a little cookie dough. He said it was good & not too sweet.I had a carrot cake something. I'm sure it's probably called a cupcake but for me it was more like a little muffin with a ton of frosting on top. While it's a little sweet it's not overwhelming. If you are the type of person who takes the top off of the cupcake to flip it upside down & eat it like a little sandwich, this will not work. I tried but the size is wrong. I love carrot cake & this didn't disappoint other than wishing it was a little bigger. We'll be back again when the sweet tooth hits to give some other stuff a try.

I was suggested a smash cake for a larger cupcake for a friends birthday lunch. Three people there and no one could tell me the price of one, how big it would be, could have anything written on it, or how it would even be decorated. I went and ahead and ordered it, but based on the service I got while in the store, I am not sure I have made the right decision.

Looking for some bakeries around Wichita, KS and found this online. I had chocolate chip cookies, m&m cookie and a German chocolate cupcake. Cookies were awesome and cupcake that I had...sweetness was overpowering like Sam's cupcakes. It was so good I went 2 more times the following week. Prices are similar to Crumbl cookies around $3.50-$4 price range. I had the strawberry cupcake and the wife had the lemon cupcake. Cupcakes are so delicious. This is my new to go to spot for fresh cookies and cupcakes. There are so many cookies decorated for all ages. Love it.

Love this place! I had it the first time I visited Wichita and now I stop whenever I'm back in town. The cookies are big and doughy. Even the day old ones are delicious and you get 2 for the price of 1. My favorite is the chocolate chip.

J Raes is a fantastic bakery, I would highly recommend trying it out if you like sweets. They sell all kinds of things ranging from cookies, cake balls, cupcakes, cheesecakes, etc. Whenever I go here, I can't leave without some cake balls and sugar cookies. They have the best cake balls I have ever had, and they sell a number of different flavors so you can get a nice variety. And their sugar cookies...wow. They always have sugar cookies ranging in size from small to large, cut out and decorated into all kinds of cute things. Their sugar cookies are much thicker then I'm used to, but they aren't at all dry, and they have a great kind of almond-ey flavor. This place is definitely worth checking out. Yes, you may spend a little bit more on your sweets here than you would at the grocery store....but this is a bakery, with delicious quality products that have been freshly made, so a slightly higher price is of no concern to me.

Cute little bakery. Price was very reasonable.The Oreo cheesecake, snicker doodle cookie, and lemon cupcake were really good. The icing however is a bit much and way too sweet.

I really really like their cheesecakes--my family will often pick up a large one for a special occasion. The crust is thick and the cheesecake isn't overly sweet like a lot of other places. All of their cookies are very good as well; their cupcakes are a bit much with how much icing they pile on them. My one negative comment about this place is that the staff could do more to be friendly and not awkwardly watch you while you make your selection. It seems consistent that the staff doesn't do much to go above and beyond service-wise. However, I still like this place when I want to pick up a fun dessert.

Love the cookies! Any time I've called to place an order they've been nothing but helpful and so nice to work with! I highly recommend you check them out if you're wanting some cute cookies for a party or get together!
