iTzcali Tapas and Tequila

Really nice place. The food was good. They had a tequila tasting the night we were there. So the service and bar service were pretty slow. They have an additional beautiful bar in the back room where they sat us. It was fully stocked, but no one worked it. Someone would pop in once and awhile. Basically, they were short staffed. They maybe should have planned a bit better. I would return though. Great food and good drinks, once we eventually got them.

We had a large group here. Service was unprepared for us, and we had to wait for 15 min to sit down. Plus, it took almost an hour to get drinks/apps ordered. And the server (one for 14) wasn't attentive to drink needs after the initial order.Food was good, experience was bad. Would probably recommend if the group size was small.

The fruit is squeezed fresh at the bar to make the most delicious drinks. All of the entrees are phenomenal, but you definitely need to start your meal off with the dip trio: fresh salsa, tasty queso, and spectacular guacamole. I've been here several times and had great service. Saturday nights they seem to have lol hands in deck. We brought our older kids and they really liked it. Good energy, delicious drinks and great service.

This restaurant is beautiful, inside and out! Great bar, indoor and outdoor dining areas!We went 2 days in a row. We sat at the bar yesterday and today we opted for a booth. Now the food for both days - We the wings for appetizer last night. They were brined and had a nice kick. Chris loved them. I had the Picanha. I didn't realize it would be in a skewer but it was very tender and paired well with the chimichurri sauce. Chris had the Scottish Salmon Al Pastor. The portion was huge and it was cooked perfectly! Today for lunch, we shared the Tuna Tartare, Birria and Al Pastor Street Tacos. They were all excellent. Chris drank the rest of the consommé. Lol. Yes, it was that good!Drink service at the bar was excellent as well as the food service at the table. The bartender knows his stuff and our server was courteous and helpful.

Great food and real taste of good Hispanic cuisine. Had guacamole and Bianco Queso then had the enchiladas To drink the Margaritas we great also a pickly Pair margaritas. Service was good not great just in the first 6 months.

Unique place for Wichita as it is something you would find more so in a major metro market. Beautiful and comfortable dining room with the bar being the showcase piece.Emphasis was on craft food and drinks. Crazy large tequila menu. Three dollar tacos on Tuesdays. Everything that we tried was excellent. Service was spot on.

I mean come on...To call this place authentic is a bit sly. The food was very bland. The guac was okay, the queso was literally velveeta and got stuck to my fork. Salsa was meh. Burrito has some solid meat but tasted like nothing. The birria tacos were only okay by Kansas standard. I think Tacos TJ 664 absolutely blows this place out of the water. I'm sure the drinks are solid but if you're coming for food take your $100 elsewhere.

Saturday evening with a party of 10 at ITzcali couldn't been any better as we were in town visiting..,Food was great! We had appetizers calamari, oysters and 2 different Quesos. Now the main course everyone ordered different so we could share and definitely was so much fun trying so many foods. Now the alcoholic beverages were on point.Desserts by this time we were full but couldn't pass up the churros... Definitely coming back!Such a fancy bougie restaurant and the atmosphere & aesthetics were beyond amazing! Our waitress I believe was Joslyn was great and kept the drinks and all the food coming.Thanks for an amazing evening'

Heads up, if you order the house margarita, get an extra tequila shot on the side, they are pretty weak!
