Working with IWP was the most disappointing experience as a client to date. My husband and I used Shane Isham's company, IWP, LLC, for our foundation repair on a house we purchased 6/1/2016. Before he started work his crew dumped concrete from another job in our front yard, it is still there today (10/7/2016). We asked multiple times for a contract of some type. He promised to get the contract, but after many excuses and delays we stopped asking. We also asked for him to display the work permit on the door. Again, after many excuses we called the city ourselves to find that he had not requested a permit. Further investigation revealed that he hadn't even licensed IWP! We asked him to stop work until he had the proper legal documents. He had the documents after a week, but work did not resume for over two weeks, during which our basement flooded twice. He never provided a pump or any assistance to bail water out of basement OR open trench. When the trench collapsed he left us waiting a week for a second excavation. He over compensated while lifting the corner and caused even MORE damage to our brick facade! The seal plate won't lie flat now. We suspect that there is water under the basement floor due to the flooded trench, but only time will tell. They broke our water line and tried to get out of fixing it. It had a tooth mark in the pipe, clearly made from the excavator. That left us without water for 7 days, air conditioner had also been disconnected since work began - all summer. His crew is tiny and overbooked. They don't have the experience or equipment necessary to handle the job he bid. His web page states "IWP has a full crew with specialists for each discipline", which is a non-truth. Only two wo of his employees have experience, while the other two were young guys (maybe fresh out of high school?) with no experience whatsoever. Isham seemed irritated by our concerns, blamed US for the delays in the timeline, blamed his CREW for poor workmanship and was seldom on site. There are more details still that I will not elaborate on. I wouldn't recommend this outfit to my worst enemy. Well, maybe I would...http://kansasfoundationrepair.com/And http://www.kansasdrybasements.com/Same company.

10/10!!! Shane and his team were transparent, honest, and FAST! Our final bill ended up being slightly LOWER than what we expected, and the IWP team kept me informed of their progress every step of the way. If I ever have another crack in my dungeon, IWP is the only call I'll make. GOOD JOB!!!

I absolutely loved working with Melissa, Shane and the rest of their team. Megan was great at keeping us informed. Shane is so knowledgable and never talked to us in a way we couldn't understand. Highly recommend this company.

IWP just finished up the initial work on my basement repair and topsoil work outside my home and I am extremely pleased with the work they have done and the professional manner in which they handled all communication and scheduling. After reading a previous review on here, I almost chose another company which I had used on another home to do the work as I knew them to do quality work and be reputable. IWP offered me a contract that covered the same solutions at a more reasonable price. In talking with Shane, I could tell that he knew what he was doing and had a good 'gut feeling' that he would honor his work and 25 year warranty. Shane has a large crew working for him and does a nice job of managing them along with his foremen and office manager. It was nice to see him working with a good group of young men and teaching them a trade and work ethic. Each person with IWP working on my house and yard were respectful, polite and able to communicate well. I never had a problem reaching Shane or his secretary. They always listened and responded to my questions in an acceptable manner that seemed reasonable to both of us. I chose to go with Isham Waterproofing because I felt they were knowledgeable about the best solution, were very competetive with their pricing and offered a good warranty on their work. I have not been disappointed and have high hopes for my basement to remain dry during future rains.

If you want to WAY overpay this is your place -$365/hr. Had me prepay & told would refund me balance. Got final invoice & they kept it all. Was supposed to be $2,250 for a beam, steel plates & hydraulic jacks. Told me they couldn't do that work but would do the work cheaper by rebuilding the blocks that had fallen. Charged the same price for them to use my own concrete blocks and rebuild the pillars & install 2 new ones. 6 hrs of work =$2,250.
