Classic small town cafe. Very friendly, made from scratch (locally sourced) food. The ice tea was excellent! I got the "all in omelette", it was excellent... large, full of meat... one of the best I've ever had! I like salsa with my omelette and their's was homemade, and also excellent! I know I am odd, but I like my hashbrowns burned... It may surprise you that nobody seems to be able to accomplish that, but they did an excellent job of it!Lee got the hamburger... sides are extra, which made it a little pricey. The decor is clean and attractive, but is of an old style nature. Service is a little slow, likely due to one cook and made from scratch orders... but okay. If you're in the area, it's a must try!

Everyone raves about this little cafe but the food isn't that great. Fried Chicken isn't bad but has been dry. Not much to the salad bar. Would be great if they could offer a better variety on the buffet. I have seen roast, different kinds of casseroles, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls etc. I hear they have a liver and onions buffet. Wrong be trying that! Place could use some updating and refreshing.

This is a small but mighty little cafe that excels in serving simply delicious food and offers small-town hospitality. We had dinner with extended family on Friday evening when a fried chicken buffet is offered. Sides included green beans and scalloped potatoes. It is reminiscent of dinner at Grandma's. And to top it off there is pie!

Excellent, small-town cafe with the kind of food you'll never get at a chain restaurant. Clean and bright with a great decor of farm implement memorabilia and toys displayed on the walls.I had the western omelet, filled with onions, peppers, lots of real cheddar cheese and the best, locally-made sausage. No Sysco crap here, it was all home-style, even the eggs for the omelet were not of the pasteurized, pour-out-of-the-carton type that you find in most places. No, they were just beaten enough to leave a little white showing they were the real thing. Crispy, non-greasy hashbrowns and toast.Great coffee, great service, a little bit pricey (just a little), but for the quality it's well, well worth it. Definitely going on my regular breakfast spot list. :-)

Yum! Came here after a hunt for breakfast, and it hit the spot! The western goulash and pancakes were delicious, and our waitress was really nice.

We had 5 people who all ordered the fried chicken buffet on Friday. Dinner was about $15 and if I remember right, that included the buffet, pie for dessert, and your drink. We definitely all liked it and will be going back again. I tried some kind of Mexican diss on the buffet and it was really good. I think the next time we will try their Mexican night.
