I wanted to try, since under new management, and it was clean, friendly and quick. I got a 1/2 pound burger and curly fries, it was a little pricey compared to earlier operators (14$), but every thing is higher now I guess. You won't be disappointed it was definitely best cafe burger I've had in forever! Highly recommended stop in!

Ingalls Cafe is a gem in a small, quite town. The cafe is clean and fresh, with cute country decor. We had traveled several hours and had not eaten breakfast yet. We had just Missed the breakfast serving times, but when asked, the chef was very gracious, serving up a hearty -sized breakfast burrito and a huge cinnamon roll as well. The burrito was tasty, topped with lots of melted cheese. the salsa adding a lot to overall entree, because The filling was a bit dry.The cinnamon roll was tender andDelicious. our server was sweet and courteous and attentive. The biggest surprise was the bill, though ! If You want an inexpensive yet good solid meal, the Ingalls cafe hits the spot!

DO NOT PASS THIS CAFE UP!! I ordered. The recommendation of the friendly cook the delicious asada tacos. Tender juicy steak, with just the right spice, flavored with cilantro and lime and grilled onions (served on the side) on homemade tortillas-just right! Friendly efficient staff!!

This place is a find. I walked in on a whim, and found it filled. Great food, first class service, and friendly local atmosphere makes this place a gem. Although I had only a light meal (chef's salad), I hear the hamburgers are big and very good. Definitely worth it!

Small place off Hwy 50 between Dodge City and Garden City. Got there around 11am. No breakfast available. We were disappointed. Service was very, very good and the lunch we ordered instead was very tasty. Those crinkle fries hit the spot! Burger and Chicken dish were very tasty also. Nice air conditioned restaurant with plentiful ceiling fans made it comfortable. If you would have a breakfast menu, like most local cafe's do, a five star review would have done it. A good place otherwise in Ingalls, Kansas and highly recommended.

Save your money & skip this place. Service is painfully slow. They are always out of menu items. They didn't even have what they posted as the special! And be prepared for the bill to be higher than expected as they have lots of "extras."

Recently moved to the area and had to try this place out at the recommendation of many. Loved the casual environment and the menu options! The first time in I got a burger with fries and was very pleased. Later that night I became very sick. I didn't think much of it, just thought maybe I was coming down with something. A couple weeks later went back and got a steak. Once again very pleased with the experience until I got home later that night and the next morning. As good as this place seems to be, I won't be going back after getting food poisoning and vomiting from both previous visits.

Went to Ingalls Cafe for breakfast. Good atmosphere, coffee, eggs, bacon, and French toast. Highly recommend this small town diner. I will go again when I get a chance.
