The Idle Hour is great for consistently solid bar comfort food and their specials are really good. They have a full bar and are one of the few places around that support live, local music on the occasional weekend!

New owner and new management = FANTASTIC new experience. Attended Grand Opening, Lunch, Karaoke Night. All fun. Way COOL that there are 3 generations in attendance and all are having a good time. Good dance floor (swing, 2-step, slow and even a record setting "stupid shuffle".). The chicken wings and spicy cheese balls are DELICIOUS and a value! Munchies extraordinaire for 4 peeps... Easily. Free salted peanuts..throw the shells on the floor and Carrie Nation's hatchet marks on the bar... It doesn't get any better than this. Kudos to the best bar, dining and dancing experience in a 5 county/ 2 state area.
