With any other type of Dr you are allowed to speak with another Dr and it's perfectly acceptable. Or it should be. But for some reason, if you do that with a pain Dr you are labeled as a "Dr shopper". Doesn't matter if you take meds from this other Dr or the reasons why you spoke to this other Dr. For instance like me. I'm fairly low income so I need to save money where I can. So when I moved further from this office I started thinking that maybe I should go to another office. I was up front with them that I was considering this. I talked to another Dr. However to do what Dr Nguyen was doing for me I would have to go see 2 different Drs, this defeating the purpose of trying to save money. So I told them no thank you and went to my regular appointment fully intending to tell them the parts they were unaware of when I arrived. But when I arrived, I was met by his nurse and told he didn't want to provide me with oral meds. I asked her to get me in to see him so I could discuss with him as I am going through a lot of procedures rn. He was on vacation. She stated at that time he would only take care of my pain pump and to contact the Medtronic rep to set up to get my PTM device fixed. Then after waiting over a week and a half for him to return I get an email that he's back and she'll contact me that day. That was Monday July 24. Today, my pharmacy tried to refill my muscle relaxer and their office informed them I'm no longer a patient. I've received NOTHING! I called to find out why and was told a letter was sent out Monday. Apparently it takes a week or more to get a letter from the west side of Wichita to Augusta!? Because as of Thursday Ii have no letter. This Dr has no ethics or morals and neither does his staff. Stay far far away.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a physician . He literally entered the exam room yelling at me carrying his little computer screen . Wanted to argue with me about my cancer diagnosis and whether or not that was correct . I was amputated because my cancer had eaten part of my ankle and leg. He suggested that if that cancer had eaten that part of my body it should be eating all of my bones . He didn't even understand or try to hear what I was explaining to him. The pathology reports had been sent to him all of my surgical reports have been sent to him and apparently he didn't read any of it. I even question whether or not this man can comprehend what's being said to him . He's too busy talking over you to hear anything you're saying and all he wants to do is yell argue and belittle his patients. Horrible horrible position and also a terrible human being !

I wish it would let me post zero stars, but I guess I'll just have to go with one star. This guy shouldn't even be a doctor. He has no regard for his patients other than whether they can pay. His biggest concern is moving patients in and out as quickly as possible to maximize his revenue. If you try to have a conversation with him, good luck. He talks over you, he interrupts, and he even makes false assertions and yells while he's doing it. He's a liar, he's a callous buffoon, and he has no business even having a medical license. Do yourself a favor; go somewhere else!

Please Read Then RUN!This is the worst experience I have ever had with a doctor in my life.I do not feel that I can express how frighten this whole experience was in writing. Let me start by saying that I have and many interactions with doctors in my life as pain as been a part of my life since I was a baby. I have been suffering from chronic pain for the last 26 years after a life changing hospitalization that nearly took me off this planet. The first month I went to this provider was July 23 at which time he changed my medications from what I had previously been taking. I called the office on July 12th due to the medication not working as well as my previous medication and as a result I had to call off from work which I have not done since I started working for this company. I never got a call back so I called again on July 17 at which time I was told the doctor was on vacation and the nurse was out. I then received a call back from the nurse and she stated that no changes could be made until the doctor returned from vacation so I asked for the next available appointment and she stated that it would be July 31st which was the same as my appointment date. When I asked her what I was suppose to do in the mean time because I had to call off from work and could not do that again she stated that I could go to the ER but the only medication I could get was what they gave me in the ER (which would do me no good 2-3 days later). So when I met with the doctor today I tried to explain that I had contacted the office and found out that he was on vacation and he stated "Life happens". He then began to attack everything I said and I was taken aback so bad that I let out a sigh and he accused me of laughing at him and he became aggressive in his tone (yelling at me) and his actions. I felt like he wanted to physically fight with me which really threw my sense of safety off. I sat there quietly taking his rant about how he was protecting my safety. After this speech about safety he states that he will not fill a prescription before 8-2-23 and I should not have taken more (despite the fact that my pain had increased due to the change in medication) and he then yelled at me that I had violated the contract (keep in mind he violated it by not having someone on call that could see me when I needed to change the medication) for the third time and told me that if I did not want to follow his rules I needed to go back to the doctor that I came from and then left the room. I find it strange that he is so worried about my safety but sent me out with no medication to go into detox over the next 2 days on my own. This man is a rude, aggressive and a bully. Shame on the person that referred me to him!

The office manager Brad Hoyt made sexual advance toward me. I am married and dedicated to my husband and turned him down. My husband showed class and professionalism and confronted him as any husband would. He started yelling at my husband and told him and I never to come back to ICT Internal Medicine &Pain. Since this Brad has tried to contact other pain management clinics concerning my husband and I. He is trying to deny us pain management. It is sad, rude, discrimination and unprofessionalism.

Dr. Baoluan Nguyen is nothing but a joke. Not only does he make fun of other doctors when he is reviewing your paperwork especially to his staff but he makes fun of his patients and mocks them. He thinks that since he went further than high school everyone else is dumb. He sits there and yells/screams at his patients as I know because not only is my stepmom his patient but I had my first appointment with him August 3rd, 2023 and he did the same thing to me. I had all of my teeth pulled Dec. 15th 2022 with complications so was prescribed pain pills up until Jan. 2023 and the next thing I know I am being screamed at for it. I am a suboxone patient and proud of it and had the permission of my pain doctor to take these pain medications but to stop the suboxone while I am taking them so I did which left me with extra suboxone. Finding out my mother who lives in Southern California was diagnosed with lung cancer which was treatable but not curable I would fly out there every month to help her with her appointments, house keeping, errands and anything else she needed, I took my suboxone with me and left it there with her so I would have it when I was there. After thinking things were getting better we found out her cancer went from her lungs, to her bones as well as brain. Long story short 4 months after that diagnosis she passed away May 31st 2023. Forgetting to bring my suboxone back with me I couldn't get it back until her ashes were ready to be picked up and we had not only needed the death certificate but you also needed special permits to carry remains/ashes from state to state. Long story short I was finally able to get what suboxone I had left in July. When explaining this to Nguyen (who doesn't even deserve to be called a doctor) I became a liar. I also have an ulcer from gastric bypass surgery which in July I went in and Dr. Howes placed a stent over/in it which was explained wasn't FDA approved but he has been doing it for years which has come with much success of getting rid of the ulcer. Again, I was screamed at by Nguyen and was called a liar AGAIN. People please do what I did, we all have smart phones now and Kansas is a one party consent state RECORD RECORD RECORD your visits as I did from the very first time I went with my stepmother to her appointments and as I did when I went to mine. This helps when you report him (if you decide to) which by reading his reviews many of you need to. I know I did and will be following through. This guy needs to be shut down and NEVER be allowed to hurt another person again. Not only do I suffer from years and years of sexual abuse I also suffer from physical/emotional abuse which not only is what he did to me but brought up all of those past years that I have tried to overcome, well now I feel like I am back to square one all because of this (in the nicest way possible) person did to me. I've lost my teeth over my abuse, hair and nails. I can't even get dentures due to my mouth shaped, I have to settle with all of 4 implants which insurance doesn't cover nor do I have the money for so not only do I have that ulcer that requires eating 5 small meals a day I cannot do it which then leads to the fact that I might not even see my son turn 5 or be there for his first day of school, etc....Thank you Nguyen, thank you for being such a heartless person who only cares about money and himself. My stepmom has a pain pump that he fills for her but still makes her come back even if it is a day or 2 later to just get her pain medicine refilled....why not do it all in one visit, well that means he would get less money from his patients and the insurance companies. WOW!!! Please think about this reviews plus all of his other reviews, join me in getting this man away from people who truly need help because the next step is him causing a death of someone who is just seeking help and seeking it the right way. Thank you all for reading this and I hope you all feel better and get the treatment you not only need but deserve. PS. He doesn't deserve not even one star but this review makes u chose 1.

RUN if you are truly in pain! I had one visit with Dr. Nguyen and his staff. I thought all was well when I left but then, I was horrified after waiting on my pain med for two weeks to find out that they had sent my prescription to a different location in a different city that didn't even have the med in stock!! Then, after talking to the Administrator 4 times, promising me she would forward the message to the nurse immediately and I could expect my prescription at the right location. Never Happened!!! Then, because I called telling them to rip up the Medication Contract so that I could get pain medication elsewhere, they added insult to injury by attacking my credibility. They had the nerve to send me a certified letter stating that our physician-patient relationship was being terminated for "get this" non-compliance with the Patient-Physician Opioid/Controlled Medication Agreement!!!! Are you serious? Instead of an apology for the pain that I had endured while waiting on them to follow through in a professional manner, they sent me this certified letter that will negatively impact my clean professional relationships with other doctors. I will not take this malicious attack laying down!
