No no no no and more nope. I went here because it was the only restaurant open for Chinese food and I was staying at a friends house and she was really craving Chinese. First of all, I called and a girl said they were closed (it was over an hour before the closing time posted on their door.). I then spoke to a manager who said they were in fact open. They had the least productive setup I have ever seen. Everyone had to CALL IN their order and then proceed to WAIT in the drive through line to pay. What?!?! Why cant we pull up when our food is ready and pay or pay over the phone. When I ordered they said I would pay real quick and then park and they would bring my food out to me. NOPE. Everyone stayed in that line until their food was ready and then paid and got their food. I was in the line for AN HOUR AND 20 MINUTES. I was also trapped once I got in so there was no turning back! It was one of the most ludacris experiences I have ever had and I tell this story to my friends on a regular basis as the "worst drive-through experience ever". That's how bad it was. I almost have to laugh through the pain of the memory. After all that, the food was positively HORRIBLE. I got sesame chicken and it tasted like soggy over-cooked chicken in corn syrup soup. I guess being the only Chinese restaurant in town open at the time they can get away with this insanity!

Our Friday night meal for the family reunion was booked at the Hunan Chinese Restaurant. They accomodated approximately 50 of us in their private dining room. The dining was a very nice social being among friends & family & enjoying good food. Few minor details were overlooked. Not placing sufficient utensils in advance on each table. A full plate brought to table without a fork/chopstick is a disappointment. All the food on buffet lines seemed to be at right temperatures. Thought their broiled shrimp was fresh & excellent. Went back for seconds. A few Americanized items probably should have been left off Chinese buffet. A bigger selection of desserts added to buffet would be satisfying. Overall, Hunan is a great place to eat & bring someone with you.

I've been in Ponca for eight months. I like to take my family out eat on weekend. I've try many restaurants here. They're all good, but for the last five months. Hunan is one of our favorite. Kid friendly. Waitress are nice. There are four sections of food. Not a lot but it's good food. And the best part other than the food and all that. It's cheaper than other restaurants I've been. My family is counting 8 people and I only spent $40 to 60. If this isn't a thing. I spent $100 every other restaurant. That's a lot of savings.. Duh. It's not 5 to me because they don't have much of a selection like No sushi. Other than that. It still rock

Update- we ate here last night about 5:15. We were the first that came in for the dinner rush, but a lot of people came in after us. There were several items that were almost empty, and what was there had been sitting there for a while. Sesame balls were so hard they were inedible. Honey chicken was so dried out and hard I couldn't chew it. Crab Rangoon, typically one of the most popular items up there, had like 5 pieces left and remained that way the entire time we were there. And what's up with that shrimp mixed with the scrambled eggs?? It looked absolutely disgusting. We won't be coming back anytime soon. Surely Hunan can do better than this!

The buffet is decent. If you order from the menu, the food is actually better but you have to ask for a menu otherwise the waiter will assume you are getting the buffet. The restaurant use to be in a smaller location and all they had was the menu - no buffet. When they built this place - they put in the buffet but left patrons the option of the menu, (if you know to ask.)Some of the food on the buffet is very good but some of it is just from a can. The buffet is very large and I recommend that you sample a little bit of many things for the first go around , then load up on your favorites. It's run by a local family and it's one of the better Chinese places in town. It's also one of the better places in town in general to eat.

This place has the most boring tasteless selection. I was getting my first plate and asked for some fried chicken. There was only a breast piece for selection. They said "no more." People kept coming to this restaurant and they denied me a menu choice and every one to come after. W0w! Pretty cheap. The food is tasteless and I'll stick with China king I from now on.

This place has gotten to be very hit or miss. They really need to work on atmosphere. One of the first things you see after you come in the door are dirty, green, nearly empty fish tanks. If you're going to have them then keep them clean. Or just get rid of them. The whole place looks very dated, and not in a good way. There doesn't seem to be any consistency on what is going to be offered as sides on the buffet. One of my favorite things are the green beans and I never know if they will be there or not. The staff, while polite when they just happen to be there, don't look professional at all. Especially those that refresh the buffet. I'm not expecting business casual, but some uniform look would be nice. I've worked in food service and I know that kitchens can get very hot, but long hair coming from under a ball cap should be a no. Or at least throw on a hair net.

Excellent Chinese buffet, one of my favorites anywhere. The food is good, fresh, hot, and replenished often. Service is always excellent, they work very hard here. The jalapeño-chicken and the lo-mein are my 2 favorite dishes here, but everything on that buffet is good. Always excellent!
