Loved my apt at Horizon East. The staff there is excellent. Maintenance issues are taken care of right away. I did however have issues with hacking into my computers and phones through my wifi connection from neighbors. Moved to another property owned by the same company.

I beg for anyone reading reviews nowadays to take the time to read this. I left a terrible review a month into my stay. Yesterday I just moved the rest of my stuff out. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!! The apartments are straight up disgusting, the property is not kept up with in the slightest. I agreed to ~ $750/month payments and whenever the lady was fired that I signed with is when I got given an eviction notice because I have not been paying the correct amount. This is when I met Brisa (Bri) and she informed me that my rent was actually $900 and I had to come up with the difference from what I agreed with the previous "manager". This place is a joke and I promise you that the couple hundred dollars extra is BEYOND WORTH IT. I kicked myself in the butt for leaving Sundance Apartments just down the road because I thought I was saving money. NOT WORTH IT. South side of Wichita has nicer apartments than Horizons East

Awful apartments. Great if you like leaky ceilings for 5 months. Black sludge coming out of your faucet for 2 years. No AC for months. No heating for months. Mold so bad in so many apartments even their new maintenance team turned down a job because of how much neglect had occurred in the complex. Nasty awful place. I have not been able to live in my apartment for the past 8 weeks because of hazardous mold conditions from neglected leak repairs that were not addressed for 6 months. This is one of the worst places you could live. The apartments look nice, but the staff and maintenance teams I have seen and met are rude, negligent, inattentive, unresponsive, and disrespectful to their tenants. The previous manager Alisha was incredibly rude multiple times and when presented with issues last year about my heater being out, it was months before it was addressed. The same thing happened with my AC last Summer. I have had issues with black sludge coming out of my bath faucet for 2 years and sent many requests to the office with videos and pictures. This has never been fixed. One of the first maintenance teams addressed me as "mr. liar" upon first meeting them and was very rude. Alisha and the previous maintenance worker I believe have been fired at this point, but the new manager Malaia Stripling was on staff previously and I must say my experiences with her are even worse. You could have a brick wall do more work than she does.My apartment had a leak on July 5th. It is now December 1st. The leak was repaired last month, but this damage occurred during the summer when heat was well over a hundred degrees. I have reported these issues and never received any help. After my health started to decline, I went to a clinic twice and eventually led me to take a mold test which came back positive. I have sent this information and pictures to the manager, Malaia Stripling, who has been incredibly unhelpful. She is dismissive and has done next to nothing towards helping my situation. I had to talk with her many times before the leaks in my apartment where fixed, let alone the mold, which has still not been addressed. After months of begging for help, I have not received any regarding the hazardous conditions here. I asked to be presented with options like moving to a different unit and at this point have received zero communication from Malaia. She will not give me email or communications to talk with anyone else involved and I feel very wronged by how things have been handled. It is humiliating to pay rent on a place that neglects the health and conditions their tenants live in. I later talked to other tenants and their maintenance teams and have discovered this theme of long months without heating/ac, mold issues, neglected leaks are all thematic. Mold seems to be rampant in these apartments and one of the maintenance people I talked to seemed pretty disgusted by the lack of attentiveness these apartments act on regarding mold and indicated they would turn down a job here because of it.Absolutely disgusting place. I would take a shower if black sludge was not coming out of my faucet.

Alicia and the two ladies in the office are wonderful. if there is an issue that needs to be addressed I know that they are working on it, and what is even better is that alicia is very easy to talk to and I can tell that she is listening and actually cares. Thank you ladies! And thank you Alicia!!

NEVER COME HEREEEE!! ROACHES EVERYWHEREEEEEEI'm genuinely surprised this place hasn't been shut down. Everyone at the front office are rude AF. Brittany took over and is super rude and snobby. Alica the "manager" is absolutely 0 help to any situation. I had to move here in a Pinch bc of my job and I would seriously rather live In a box on the street. I'm paying an absurd amount of money each month for a apartment that's worth 50 bucks. I feel terrible for the people touring this place praying they don't chose to rent here. Oh and if u ever need maintenance (which you will cause nothing works) GOOD LUCK. oh and that 24 hour notice to enter your apartment, they won't follow but want to send you an eviction notice for ur friend and her cat staying with you. To add ive moved out and they refuse to give me my wife box that was accidentally left and god forbid a deposit is coming ur way when u move out.

My daughter with disabilities has not had a working ac since late in June. The manager finally gave them a portable plug in unit that only cools one room at the end of July. We had multiple days of 100 degree or more weather and she had to come to our house to sleep several times because it was too hot. Their excuse is that all their maintenance people had quit and they have no one to do the work. Her freezer began leaking at about the same time and still isn't fixed. But if she looks on the site, it says both issues were repaired. She has moved out.
