Horizons at Prairie Ridge

The food and service are stellar and the prices vary reasonable. The atmosphere is casual but pleasant and you can choose indoor or outdoor dining (weather permitting). It's a perfect gathering spot!

Always a great lunch. I have the special most days and it never disappoints. Wish I lived closer so I could have dinner during the week.

Excellent restaurant. The staff is friendly and the food is excellent. Some of the menu selections are a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. I have never been disappointed by the quality of the menu item I selected. I highly recommend this establishment for your dining pleasure.

I generally like this place. The iced tea is good. The food is good but there is not much of it. I have had their salads and appetizers when I go which is usually at lunch. Service last time was frustratingly slow. I sat there with an incorrect order for 15 minutes before waitress could get back to my table or notice me. Service generally is okay. Nice atmosphere and it is quieter place without a lot of music or tv's blaring with a nice view of golf course.

What a great place to eat! Horizons at Prairie Ridge is a beautifully decorated restaurant. Had a well-prepared salmon selection on rice pilaf, with perfectly steamed vegetables. The chef is truly talented! The wait staff was very friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. The host, Nicole, was professional and friendly. Nicole and her staff are to be complimented on making my visit so enjoyable! Have eaten at many restaurants around the U.S., Canada, and Europe -- Horizons is on my Top Ten list! Will definitely eat here again on my next trip to southeast Kansas!

Had the minestrone soup and the grilled pork chop. Grilling it took a while, but it was well worth the wait. Very tender and flavorful for a thick chop. Finished off with some homemade ice cream. An excellent dining experience. Great little place in a small town.

The restaurant has a subtle yet profound ambiance. Although it doesn't look like it from the outside, the place is top notch. Everything ranging from their rib-eye and sauted mushrooms to their chicken strips and fries, the food is prepared with care and attention to detail. I have eaten there every time I pass through Erie, and every time I am delighted to find out the place has remained mostly the same. With minor modifications, it still has that same feel of a small town restaurant with friendly staff and kind owners. Nicole and her husband are very charismatic, conversations with them are very organic and spontaneous. They are very charismatic people. On a side note, I purchased a very nice set of coffee mugs at Horizons. It was made by a local potter. It is very nice to see the owner collaborating with local artists to encourage networking and cooperation among small local businesses.
