Homewood Recreational Vehicle Park & Campground

No bells, no whistles but it is right off of I-35 with some very pretty surroundings. Most of the folks staying here appear to be long-term types, very few staying just for a night or two. Forty bucks a night seems a bit spendy but there just isn't much competition around.

They have nice showers and a nice laundry room for the guests. However, the owner has an attitude and she walks around and looks for dog poop in people yards everyday and it's an invasion of privacy. She complains about the poop not being picked up even when we tell her that it is about to be cleaned up. We also can't park our vehicles in our spots which is very inconvenient.

Don't be fooled, this unassuming hidden gem is worth stopping in at! From the gracious bag of popcorn at check in, to the upbeat always smiling clerk, to the AMAZING scenery and nearly perfectly level spots this place is definitely worth the stop. But bring cash as they don't take credit cards, that is the ONLY negative I experienced here.

Very nice campground with a nice lady Amber. Water tasted great, good pressure. Quiet, easy on and off. No noise of any kind. Full hookups. Highly recommend!!
