Small atmosphere. Eclectic. NOT Busy.Saturday lunch.Seat ourselves.The service was top notch. VIP like Server was friendly. Good variety of choices. Hard time deciding. Food was great. My mom grew up going here when it was in Ogden and only bad 4 barstools, and then she brought us as kids in Ogden as well! I have ALWAYS ALWAYS loved this place. The food is like what you would get sitting in the Silva's kitchen (owners)!!!!! My favorite is the guacamole and the ranchero special! The guacamole is not what your used to but it's super yummy and the chips are freshly fried! The Ranchero special is just YUM!!!!!! Also the flour fried taco and the soft corn with shredded beef YUUMMMMMMM so good! This place is a place you either love or hate, but the Manhattan locals know this is a gem!!!!!

Best tacos ever. My wife had them growing up and whenever we visit she has to get a few dozen and feed the family. The service was stellar and everyone was so nice. Love this place!!

Drove from Topeka to try the pan fried Tacos. We each had a chicken and a shredded beef. The shells are more a puff pastry so not really much of a crunch. The size of the tacos were huge. The chicken was decent. The beef tasted like leftover roast beef. You do not get chips and salsa so I cannot comment. The service was very attentive which is why I'm giving 3 stars. I wanted to like it more than I did.

This is the worst Mexican food I have ever eaten in my entire life. They forgot the chips to my football stadium, out of a machine queso dip. The guacamole isn't really guacamole... it's like a spread that came of of a tube... the "chili cheese" burrito which was actually supposed to be a smothered burrito.. I guess that's what it is.. is absolutely terrible. Do not order here.

I love Hillside. White flour tacos with shredded beef highly recommended. We have been coming here for at least 28 years.

I've been coming here for the past 6 years. Awesome food, at a great price. I love their burgers and chicken tacos. I normally just order their food through a delivery app. I haven't been inside in awhile but it was always nice and clean with friendly service.

I started eating there in 2002, I was stationed at Ft Riley and they were in Ogden. I left there in 2007, they had moved to Manhattan by then. We finally went through that area again in 2021. I used to love the white flour chicken tacos. I finally had a white flour fish taco in 2021, again in 2022 and again when we passed through in early June 2023. They are still as good as ever. I only wish they had free chips and salsa.If you are starving, order the Taylor Special. That is a lot of food for one person to eat.

The BEST cheeseburgers and fries in Manhattan! Their Mexican food is really good but I always order the cheeseburger because it is so fresh, juicy and hot. I love their crunchy fries served hot, too.
