Hickok's Steakhouse

Got seated right away on a Saturday night. Service was prompt and friendly. We never had to wait on drink refills. The Fried Pickles were a great appetizer. I shared with my husband a 16 oz ribeye with onions and mushrooms as a topper. The steak was so tender and with the side salad and loaded potato it was more than enough food to share. My son had the Chicken Fried Steak which he gave a thumbs up as he polished it off his plate.

Hayden gave outstanding service on Mothers Day. 16 oz Ribeye was good. Upgraded salid worth the extra $2.00. Homemade Rolls were so so. Yelp coupon for ice cream topped off the meal. $50 for two w tip and no drinks.

Stopped here driving back to Kansas City from Denver and was really glad we did. We both had KC Strips, baked potatoes and salad. Strips were cooked just right and were even good the second time around warmed up. Warm rolls with cinnamon butter! Service was excellent. Parking was easy. Highly suggest stopping by and trying this locally owned place.

Great Kansas Steak and great service. Modestly priced with great wine selection. I would recommend highly.

$3 for this "signature side asparagus". This is literally what they served me. Please upgrade your standards.

I've been to this steakhouse many times and never had a bad experience. This dinner though was truly a nightmare. I ordered a medium rare kansas city strip steak with fries.When the steak came out I cut into it and realized it was more pink and rare than a usual medium rare steak which I didn't feel comfortable eating. When I asked my server for help he said "well I guess we can put it back on the grill." (That is definitely a health code violation since I had cut into it multiple times with a fork that I had previously used)When the server brought the steak back out from the kitchen I cut into it yet again to find the steak looking exactly the same as the first time. I called my server again and he said he could offer a discount (on my raw steak?) or to put it BACK on the grill (another health code violation??)When he brought it out again I was just so fed up with the experience and pissed that I had to advocate for myself so many times. When it came time for the check I was charged full price. I asked the server if I could receive the discount he offered since my experience had been terrible and he complied.The check came back with $2.80 off of a $28 steak meal that I sent back twice. Overall the experience was so terrible and extremely disappointing. I left feeling very frustrated and doubting the kitchen's ability to cook a steak.

This is by far the best chicken fried steak I have ever eaten. I stop here every time I pass through town. I've eaten it for lunch then gone back and had it for dinner. price is fair and service is good.

We were traveling through the state and needed to stop for dinner. We chose Hickok's and we were so pleased. From the very start our waiter, Scott, was welcoming and seemed to know just what we needed. He was very attentive and so pleasant. The food was very quick to arrive and so delicious. The value was unreal. The restaurant was efficient, friendly, clean, great quality and very affordable. A fantastic experience. Thank you, Scott:)

Had a great streak and drinks and Scott made it a perfect meal. What a great waiter. We left a token of appreciations. I hope his managment knows how valuable he is!! The place has a small town steakhouse bad with nothing bad to report.

Customer service is the name of the game . While the staff seem friendly , they are almost inattentive all the time. The food was great and year ago but now the quality seems to have rather deteriorated
