Never again will we deal with them after what we just found out on an appliance we bought from them. Our money can be spent on a business that gives customers dignity and respect and not sell an appliance that was worthless from the start. Not to mention on their "repair people" they send out.

I was looking for a used washer and dryer set. I knew that Samsung had a good rating so I was interested in a set that had come into Herb Snow's store. They happened to be testing the washer at the time so I could hear it running but didn't look inside. That turned out to be a big mistake because when it was delivered and hooked up I noticed the bleach dispenser was wired into the case. I soon found out the case had rusted out around the dispenser and had been repainted with a layer of enamel paint. It gradually rusted out again and has a gaping hole covered in rust. The washer still works fine, I felt as though they were dishonest in covering up the rust. They also switched the hot and cold water hookups to the washer.

If you are looking for appliance repair, I would not suggest using Herb Snow & Son Appliance Center. I was quoted, waited a week to be serviced (which I was ok with, I took laundry home for a week while we waited) and upon completion of the project was charged $369.99. When inquiring as to why I was being charged more than double my original quote I was told I should have never been quoted, that the quote did not include labor and that my only option was to pay it or have the washer taken apart and the parts taken back. 1. It's not my fault I was quoted when I shouldn't have been 2. It's not my fault the "quote" didn't include assumed labor 3. Had I been fully aware of the cost I could have continued looking around, found a different company and potentially not waited a week to be serviced 4. We were charged a labor cost that included one of OUR own people helping the tech un-stack our washer 5. Herb Snow reveals once more their lacking customer service. I asked if I could simply receive an apology for the lack of communication and I was told I could either pay or have the parts removed YIKES.Trust their poor reviews. Which I am only aware of now.

BEWARE!!!This company will lie about the severity of the repair needed in order to take advantage of your warranty.. They will misdiagnose your repair and try to charge you for the removal of your appliance from your home to to be taken all the way to their business and charge you a removal fee in the hundreds of dollars. If you go to them be sure to get a second opinion. Once they know they can't take advantage of you they will cancel doing the repair for you.

Had to select a star to be able to post but like many others, I would give them a negative rating. I paid for the call out fee to fix my icemaker and the technician brought the part I told him was needed. I had cut the wires to remove the icemaker, and it was on the counter, in pieces. It was impossible to do any diagnostics, but I was charged a diagnostics fee of $30 for a service not provided. I did not pay for that and spoke with one of the owners Kimberly, that was very rude and threatened collections if I didn't pay. She was true to her word and I ended up paying the amount months later. She cost her company more in labor to argue, file the claim, etc. than the amount she recovered. Let alone the negative publicity. I told her she was interrupting and she replied "I don't care."I highly suggest not using this company. Fraudulent charges and extremely rude.

I was sold a used GE Electric Stoves. The Lady who was very loud told me it was a good deal and that everything checked out ok. Well that wasn't necessarily true. When I got the oven delivered to my house and tried to use it the Preheated button would not turn off like an my appliance repairman stated it should. And the stove temperature did not show up on the clock like the exact one I had before. Very Rude and terrible Customer service. One of the lady's there was very loud and non Professional. My Mother has bought many appliances from Herb Snow when he ran this company and was very Professional. I would not recommed this appliance dealer to anyone

I called them to ask what they charge to put in a new range hood that I ordered. First they ask if you bought it from them. When I said no, they burst out laughing and said "Well then it's an $185 minimum charge." Since they charge more than what I paid for it then I decided to install it myself. Then I told them my dishwasher needed a new lanyard, which the cable that holds your door is described online. They said "A what?" And burst out laughing again. I explained what it was and they burst out laughing again. Then they condescendingly told me that it's called a cable not a lanyard. and the guy in the background and the lady on the phone were laughing in hysterics.I was referred to these rude people by another repair place that doesn't work on dishwashers. I called that place back and told them how I was laughed at and treated like I was an idiot for asking about repair work. Don't called Herb Snow because you will be treated like an idiot!!! Rude!!

Had work done on my refrigerator. While I was out of the room the repair guy finished off a package of cookies that was on the counter. Never asked, just ate leaving the empty package. Highly unprofessional and rude. Will never use this company again and don't recommend.

This is the worst appliance dealer with whom I have ever dealt. If you can get an appointment with them, it will be weeks later. And then they only provide a day and not a time. So you have to take the whole day off. Sometime during that day, they might call. If you miss the call, you are history. Start the process all over again. Meanwhile, you are living out of coolers.I hope they go out of business soon!
